We’re about to delve deep into the details of both the original Final Fantasy VII and the Remake trilogy. This discussion will contain major spoilers. Consider yourself warned.

Square Enix Might Have Confirmed That Aerith Dies in FFVII Rebirth

If you watch the trailer closely, there’s a specific scene where the entire party is battling Sephiroth, except for Aerith Gainsborough, the last Ancient. This strongly suggests that Aerith might not be present for the final battle of the game, aligning with the original plot of Final Fantasy VII.

However, even if this is true, I question whether Square Enix would allow events to unfold in the exact same way. Allowing Aerith to live could potentially ruin the game and the trilogy for many long-time fans. On the other hand, not changing how it happens could make the moment less exciting.

That being said, Square Enix has a history of revealing too much information in their trailers, and they might have done so again. We not only see that Aerith is absent in the fight against Sephiroth, but we also see that Cloud stabs Sephiroth with the Buster Sword, only to be gently embraced by him, who seems to have anticipated this outcome. This is when the trailer becomes particularly intriguing for me.

We know that Sephiroth and Jenova had such an influence over Cloud’s mind that Cloud even attacked Aerith in the original game. In the scene where Cloud stabs Sephiroth, it appears quite clear that Sephiroth intended for it to happen. I believe there’s a high chance that Cloud will stab the last Cetra, thinking he is attacking Sephiroth. This would certainly explain Sephiroth’s gentle embrace after being stabbed, as it would actually be Aerith’s gentle embrace. She would understand that Cloud was not in control and wouldn’t want him to bear this guilt.

It’s not surprising that Square Enix has been hinting at Aerith Gainsborough’s death since the first game of the trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Remake. During many different moments of that game, Cloud sees flashes of the moment when Sephiroth mercilessly murders everyone’s favorite Cetra. Although that scene might have traumatized an entire generation, it’s often regarded by fans as the most important scene in Final Fantasy VII. It’s only after that trauma that Cloud can find his true self, and it’s because Aerith is in the Lifestream that Meteor is stopped. So, is history repeating itself?

Guess we’ll have to wait and see to find out. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth releases exclusively on PS5 on Feb. 29, 2024.

Where to Find Daedream in Palworld

Daedream is found at night in most of Palworld’s early-game areas. I consistently found Daedream every night during the beginning of the game, so you shouldn’t have trouble tracking down this mischievous Pal. Just make sure you’re warm enough for Palworld’s chilly nights.

As well as being easy to track down, Daedream is also an easy catch. All you need to watch out for are its magic blasts, which you’ll soon be throwing at your enemies instead.

How to Craft Daedream’s Necklace and Use Multiple Pals

You need to craft Daedream’s Necklace at a Pal Gear Workbench to unlock Daedream’s Dream Chaser Partner Skill and have it follow you. The good news is that you only need to craft one of these, regardless of how many Daedreams you plan to demolish your enemies with.

Daedream’s Necklace is unlockable at Level 8 in the technology tab. If you haven’t already, you also need the Pal Gear Work Bench from the Level 6 row. The item requires 10 Paldium Fragments, 10 Fiber, and 5 Leather to craft.

• Paldium Fragments can be mined from stone or Paldium deposits
• Fiber is gathered by hitting trees
• Leather is dropped by defeating certain Pals

Keep an eye out for Pals like Foxparks, Nitewing, and Direhowl while hunting for Daedream to gather the Leather you need. I gathered my Leather by battling Pals in areas near the Grassy Behemoth Hills tower.

How to Use Multiple Daedream Simultaneously

Once Daedream’s Necklace has been crafted at the Pal Gear Work Bench, all Daedream in your party will automatically fight beside you and follow you around. When you attack using your weapon, Daedream will passively launch its Dark Ball attack at enemies.

It’s important to note that Daedream will only attack unless actively sent out. It can’t work, switch between moves, or tank attacks. However, it does destroy enemies with a pretty loud beam of energy. As long as you don’t aim for too mighty of a foe — like my Level 7 Daedreams facing off against Mammorest — your personal army of Daedreams will melt just about anything in your way.

To engage in this morally questionable activity, just hit a human until they have low HP, then throw a Pal Sphere at them, just like you’d do to capture pals. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and sometimes you need better Pal Spheres. However, once a human is captured, they will appear in your party or Palbox.

Capturing humans is a fun detail that many players might miss because they might have never thought of even trying this. Granted, you don’t tend to see this in monster-collecting games. It seems that, unlike Pokéballs, Palspheres don’t make the distinction between what is a Pal and what is a human. If it’s alive, breathing, and its HP is sufficiently low, you can confine it in a Pal Sphere without mercy.

Once a human is captured in Palworld, the game warns you that this practice is considered inhumane, but it doesn’t prevent you from doing so. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about the humans I captured. They shot me and my Pals first. Also, I love how friendly they become once captured. You can release and retreat them as if they were any other Pal in your party.

One thing is for certain, humans are definitely worse than pals. They move slowly, have a single attack, aren’t very active in your base, and can’t be utilized for breeding. They don’t even have partner skills. Funny enough, you can condense them to increase their stats, effectively sacrificing other humans to make one stronger.

Capturing humans is more of a joke than a feature intended to be seriously used in the game. I’m pretty sure Pocket Pair is just poking fun at the genre, and adding an element that helps establish Palworld as a satire of known games. I’m not sure why anyone would capture humans in Palworld other than to test if it’s possible. That said, I already have eight in my Palbox, and they all have names now.

While the rest of the party holds the armor, Laios sprints into the room only to find a more ornate suit of armor waiting for him. During the duel that follows, Laios realizes that the suit of armor is going out of its way to protect an egg sack attached to the back of its shield.

After he manages to chop off the armor’s head, Laios discovers that a colony of mollusks is animating the suit. Using the egg sack as a distraction to save his comrades, Laios and Senshi cook the mollusks into a stir-fry soup the group guzzles down before they move on to the next level of the dungeon.

I combed YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit in my hunt for the Buckshot World Record, and I’m pretty sure I’ve found them. A Twitter user going by the handle @DaithiDeNogla amassed an impressive $14527232 fortune throughout a two-hour game session.

To back up their claim to this score, Nogla uploaded a video of their world record-setting session to their YouTube Channel. This almost two-hour video shows how Nogla survived his one-on-one dance on the edge of life and death with the dealer by carefully using the items that come his way and occasionally letting fate clip a coin.

So, congrats to Nogla for holding the Buckshot Roulette World Record! The game’s becoming more popular as the days go by, so I hope he’s looking into refining his already impressive technique to stay on top of the ever-growing number of gamblers kicking down the dealer’s door.

Brazilian Player Namikaze Prevented From Competing at Capcom Cup Due to Visa Denial

The situation has infuriated the Brazilian FGC. On December 18th, 2023, Namikaze had his visa denied during an interview at the consulate that lasted about 3 minutes. The Brazilian player said the person conducting the interview seemed to have little to no interest in hearing what he had to say. In my brief conversation with Namikaze, this is how he described the situation:

“During my interview, which was quite short, around 3 minutes, the person who conducted it did not want to look at my documents, nor did they ask for any additional information for me to prove the purpose of my trip. I mentioned that it was for international competition, in a tournament for which I earned a spot here in Brazil with all expenses covered.”

This has caused the Brazilian FGC to react angrily to the injustice committed to a player who has earned his spot in the competition. The news spread like wildfire, and many popular content creators and players have tried to raise awareness and help Namikaze have a shot at the $2M prize. One of the most notorious attempts to bring this situation before everyone’s eyes came from Vini Oliveira, also known as Punho do Dragão:

“Street Fighter isn’t as mainstream as Counter-Strike or League of Legends, but on Feb/24, the Capcom Cup X will take place, marking the biggest tournament in the franchise’s history, with a prize pool of 2 million USD. Two Brazilians secured spots for this global event. However, one of them has just had their visa denied.”

Vini continues the thread, mentioning that this is not the first time Brazilian E-Sports players have faced this situation, and it’s not exclusive to Fighting Games players. Many players have their dreams and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity crushed with no explanation, even if they have earned their spot in one of the biggest competitions in the world and have the documentation to prove it.

Currently, Namikaze’s situation is well known in Brazil. Vini’s efforts to make people aware of it worked. The player’s story has been shared by many Brazilian popular websites, players, and influencers. Names like Colossimus, a League of Legends caster, and Thomas Schulze, a writer at one of the biggest videogames Portal in the country, are also helping spread awareness and maybe find a way to help Brazil’s Capcom Cup representative.

A Tale as Old as the FGC

The situation that Namikaze is facing is unfortunate, but not surprising. There are many cases of players of many games from all over the world who had their visas denied. In 2020, Konqueror, an MK11 player, had his visa denied four times. However, he managed to turn the situation around after the FGC helped spread awareness of the situation. The case gained so much attention that Danilo Gentilli, a famous comedian and late-night show host in Brazil, tagged the American embassy on social media, asking them to reconsider.

“Hello @EmbaixadaEUA, how are you? First of all, with due respect to the sovereignty of the country, I came across a case, put myself in the boy’s shoes, and would like to report it to you. I’m reaching out here because it was the fastest way I found to contact you. Please, if you can, pay attention to this.”

It seems the goal of the Brazilian FGC is to make lightning strike in the same place a second time. Namikaze has received a lot of support and counseling from the FGC and other influential people involved with E-Sports. His situation is complicated. The Capcom Cup is in February 2024, and he might not have enough time to request another Visa. Even if he does, there’s no guarantee that his visa won’t be denied once again. We can only hope that with enough noise and support, a dream won’t be crushed due to apathy and bureaucracy.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Survival Crew was an officially licensed Roblox experience developed by ‘Metaverse Team Frights.’ Just two hours after its beta officially launched on the platform, the experience was taken down, with series creator Scott Cawthon taking to Reddit to explain that the game was not meant for release.

“The fact that [Five Nights at Freddy’s: Survival Crew] released today is one of the most baffling, insane, things to ever happen in my ten years of working on FNAF,” Cawthon writes in a comment on the official Five Nights at Freddy’s Subreddit. “This game is in it’s [sic] infancy; temp assets; temp gameplay, unfinished everything.“

As for an explanation of why the experience was ever available, Cawthon writes, “Apparently, there was a huge misunderstanding when I approved a game, and it was interpreted as RELEASE THE GAME.” Later in the comment, Cawthon reiterates, “[Five Nights at Freddy’s Survival Crew] was a game in its testing phases and was in no way ready to be released to the public.“

Prior to Scott’s explanation, a developer for Five Nights at Freddy’s: Survival Crew posted the following message into the official Discord: “Thank you all for your feedback & for playing the game – we really value the feedback from the community! We’ll be taking it down for a few weeks to plan for our next beta test and come back better for round two. All purchased items will be available at that time again. More to come soon!“

I joined the Discord server to learn more information on the developers’ plans going forward, only to be met with a stream of users posting images of a naked man, along with links to explicit animations, and the level of conversation expected from an unmoderated FNAF chat. Delightful.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Survival Crew Gameplay

I also had the pleasure of playing Five Nights at Freddy’s: Survival Crew before its delisting. My longest game consisted heavily of a T-posing Freddy Fazbear spinning in circles while we set him on fire. As Cawthon mentioned, the game is undoubtedly in the early stages of development, with poor sound effects, questionable visuals, and messy gameplay.

When the experience worked, Survival Crew’s concept was similar to Dead by Daylight’s, with one player controlling an animatronic tasked with hunting down the other players and placing them in Springlock Suits.

Players who fail the Springlock minigame will switch sides and become animatronics themselves. To win, the ‘night crew’ must activate five panels. The night crew can also use consumables to better their odds against Freddy and his gang of identically modeled Spring Bonnies.

Like most Roblox experiences, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Survival Crew featured microtransactions purchasable with Robux, Roblox’s premium currency. Animatronic players only had access to Freddy, with Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and various cosmetic skins locked behind a paywall.

Given the circumstances, Survival Crew may officially launch with a different monetization system. However, players unfortunate enough to have splashed some cash on Survival Crew during its short lifespan are now missing their in-game goodies until the game goes live once again. If it does at all.

RECAP: JJK Season 2 Episode 22 Spoilers and What to Expect in Episode 23

Desperate to escape death, Mahtio begs Pseudo-Geto to save him from Yuji. Unfortunately for Mahito, Psuedo-Geto’s description of “helping” involves using his innate Cursed Spirit Manipulation technique to absorb Mahito. Unable to fight back, Mahito is consumed, giving Peeduo-Geto access to all of Mahito’s terrifying abilities.

Given a chance to show off his new skills when the Kyoto Second-Years arrive, Pseudo-Geto effortlessly avoids every attack thrown his way, even after Atsuya Kusakabe and Utahime Iori join the fray. When it looks like things can’t get any spicer, Choso arrives and protects Yuji from a dangerous blow, loudly declaring that the boy is his little brother.

Having experienced a false memory of Yuji dining with himself and his brothers, Choso deduces that the being known as Peeduo-Geto is and always has been Kenjaku, the wicked sorcerer who created him and his siblings. Kenjaku doesn’t bother denying the allegation, but Uraume freezes Choso in his tracks before he can retaliate.

Enraged by the continuous interruption of Sukuna’s ressurection, Uraume attempts to finish off all their opponents with a massive blast of ice. At that moment, Yuki Tsukumo arrives and challenges Kenjaku, closing the episode with a nail-biting cliffhanger.

Perhaps they’ve finally recognized the potential they’ve always held and decided to have faith in their abilities. Or they might have noticed the success of Square-Enix and Capcom with remakes and chose to join the trend.

All We Know About the Upcoming SEGA Remakes

To be clear, it’s uncertain whether all these games are actual remakes. They could be full reboots, soft reboots, or complete remakes of the original games. Our only hint comes from the lyrics of the selected music played during the trailer. The lyrics say, “Let me reintroduce you,” before revealing the following games:

Jet Set Radio

Jet Set Radio is considered by many the first cel-shaded game. Although this is debatable when it comes to the launch date, we first saw this technique in 1999, when SEGA first introduced us to their upcoming rollerskating game that looks good up to this date. It doesn’t seem like SEGA is trying to reinvent the wheel here, which is good. Just give us the same art style, and the same overall gameplay, and make it better.

Streets of Rage

We get to see Axel Stone in a new look. He has a beard and a brown jacket. So, this isn’t exactly the Axel Stone we remember from the first three Streets of Rage games, nor is he the one we saw in Streets of Rage 4. Is this a remake? Is this a sequel? I don’t know, but I wanna play it.

Shinobi

We are getting a new Shinobi game and I couldn’t be more excited about it. As much as I loved Shinobi on the PS2, and I still hope they revisit that game in some way at some point, this old platformer has such an emotional weight that I believe this was the right choice. The game looks gorgeous, and elegant, and seems to have all that you’d expect from a modern platformer game about a badass ninja.

Golden Axe

It appears that a new 3D Action Adventure Multiplayer Hack’n Slash Golden Axe game is coming, and I’m all for it. We get a quick look at Gillius Thunderhead and what seem to be Ax Battler and Tyris Flare. This is one of the best SEGA franchises, and I hope they get it right.

Crazy Taxi

If there’s one thing SEGA has always excelled at, it’s creating fun racing games. Crazy Taxi is coming back and I’m pretty confident that this is going to be a fun game. This seems to be a common theme in all these announcements. They seem to be aiming at fun and nostalgia, and I can’t say that is a bad strategy.

SEGA has hinted that there’s more on the horizon. Unfortunately, they’ve kept us in suspense about what these might be. So, while we eagerly anticipate the return of these classic games, we can also look forward to the thrill of the unknown. Whatever it is, I’m excited.

Pony Island 2: Panda Circus Release Date, Consoles

As revealed in the final seconds of its excellent and uncanny trailer, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus is set to be released in 2025… or is it 2026? The last digit of the release date glitchily flickers back and forth between five and six, so Pony Island 2: Panda Circus’s release date is probably not set in stone. Since developer Daniel Mullins is a known master of deception, it will be a while until we get a clear answer on when Pony Island 2: Panda Circus is coming out.

What Consoles is Pony Island 2: Panda Circus Coming To

It’s unclear which consoles Pony Island 2: Panda Circus will be available on. The original Pony Island was a PC exclusive, so it’s safe to assume that Pony Island 2: Panda Circus will also be one. While the gameplay styles shown in the trailer were quite diverse, they all seemed to utilize point-and-click controls, giving us some solid evidence about which consoles Pony Island 2: Panda Circus will be available for.

What is Pony Island 2: Panda Circus About

Daniel Mullins’ games are infamous for their metatextual nature, and the original Pony Island is no exception to that rule. Placing the player in the shoes of an unfortunate soul who finds themself playing an arcade cabinet possessed by the Devil himself, Pony Island toyed with the player psychologically by deconstructing traditional gameplay elements like save states and in-game text, keeping them on their toes from start to finish.

From what little was shown during the trailer, the plot of Piny Island 2: Panda Circus will introduce us to yet another demonic arcade machine. This particular cabinet seems to be centered around a panda-themed life simulator game. If the massive number of glitches that crop up during “gameplay” is any indication, the player will, once again, have to work around a program that wants them to fail if they hope to escape with their soul.

The first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer opens with Lucia in prison. A woman asks her how she ended up there, and Lucia responds with “Bad luck, I guess.” Well, Lucia’s bad luck might end up restricting your ability to explore Vice City and the state of Leonida when GTA 6 finally hits store shelves in 2025.

The game’s key art features the starring couple, Jason and Lucia, sitting on the hood of a car parked on the sun-soaked streets of Vice City. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that Lucia is wearing an ankle monitor in the artwork, suggesting that she’ll be on parole during the game’s main story and under close watch by the authorities.

Just as they do in real life, Lucia’s ankle monitor could be used as a gameplay element to restrict your movement in the opening hours of GTA 6’s main story. While Grand Theft Auto V didn’t feature any restrictions at all, allowing the trio of main characters to explore Los Santos and Blaine County at their leisure from the beginning, classic GTA games were notorious for keeping players locked in a small section of the map at the start of the game.

In GTA Vice City, the bridges between islands were closed due to inclement weather. In GTA IV, the bridges were closed due to a terrorist threat. Even Rockstar’s western epic featured a variation of this mechanic, preventing Arthur Morgan from venturing too far west. With GTA 6’s map slated to be Rockstar’s biggest yet, it makes sense to restrict players to certain parts of Vice City for narrative reasons.

The ankle monitor mechanic could also play into the game’s dual protagonist system. Despite the first trailer’s focus on Lucia, both she and Jason are playable in the full game. There may be parts of the map that Lucia is unable to visit early in the story because of her ankle bracelet, forcing the player to swap to Jason. Maybe Lucia is restricted to Vice City while Jason is allowed to explore the swamps surrounding the city.

Regardless, there’s more Grand Theft Auto 6 news on the way in the future. There’s still a long road ahead to the game’s 2025 release date, and given Rockstar’s history of drip-feed marketing, it’ll likely be a long time before we see anything new from Jason and Lucia.

While the PS2-era GTA games had star-studded casts with the likes of Ray Liotta and Samuel L. Jackson, Rockstar Games tends to avoid casting big-name actors for their modern projects, choosing unknowns instead for their major roles. Roger Clark didn’t have an extensive filmography before being cast as Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, just as Michael Hollick had no major roles before playing Niko Bellic in Grand Theft Auto IV.

GTA fans thought they had discovered Lucia’s actress before the game’s first trailer was released, but it turns out that might not be the case. Alexandra C. Echavarri was rumored to be the actress who played Lucia because of her likeness and heritage, but she recently addressed the rumors herself.

Alexandra C. Echavarri voices the Warehouse Boss, Lupe, in Grand Theft Auto Online. The comments on the post asked her about any potential involvement in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game, but she quickly denied those rumors, saying, “I am NOT in GTA VI.”

With the Echavarri rumor shut down, fans now have no idea who’s playing Lucia in GTA 6. Rockstar is incredibly tight-lipped about things like this, especially so long before the game is actually out, so it’ll likely be a long time before we receive official confirmation. Plus, since the developer rarely uses popular voice actors for its main cast, it’ll be difficult for fans to match Jason and Lucia’s voices to their favorite performers before launch.

Grand Theft Auto VI is slated to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2025, and more trailers will be released throughout 2024 as we get closer to the launch window. PC fans will unfortunately have to wait before they can get their hands on the game, however, as Rockstar is doing yet another staggered launch and catering to console players first.

The trailer cuts through a rapid-fire series of viral moments featuring the behavior of the average Florida resident, but if you look past the craziness, you can see quite a few parts of Vice City and the state of Leonida on display. The iconic Vice City boardwalk is washed in waves of neon, Vice Beach is incredibly packed, and alligators are getting into places where they’re not supposed to be.

Of course, even though it’s the first official look at the game, it’s not the first time we’ve learned information about GTA 6. There have already been several leaks, including extended looks at gameplay, but the Grand Theft Auto VI map has also been mostly leaked ahead of the game’s official reveal. The GTA leaks community has put together a general idea of what the game’s map will look like and placed multiple landmarks already.

A fanmade mockup by avatar-sd on DeviantArt has been widely accepted as one of the best representations of the leaked map. While it takes some creative liberties with store locations and area names, the general layout of the map is accurate based on all of the leaked information that’s out there.

Now that the first official GTA 6 trailer is out, however, fans have been comparing the footage to the leaked map to see if anything lines up. Eagle-eyed fans have already found multiple parts of the trailer that line up with the leaked map information, meaning that the map leaks are most likely real. The nighttime shot of a Vice City highway lines up with an area in the middle of the leaked map, for example, as does the shot of a bridge crossing the crystal clear waters of Leonida.

If this seems farfetched, just remember that the map of Red Dead Redemption 2 was leaked before that game was even announced and it ended up being nearly 100% accurate. The fanmade mockups of the GTA VI map might be a little bit off and take a few creative liberties, but the overall structure of the map and city layout is basically set in stone.

Of course, we won’t get our first look at the GTA 6 map until the game finally launches in 2025. As is the case with a lot of internet drama, DramaAlert’s Keemstar is a key reason why people are thinking that Lucia might be a trans woman in GTA 6. A post on the website formerly known as Twitter mentions that Lucia is rumored to be transgender, but there’s no concrete source backing this up.

DramaAlert’s source is a Reddit thread posted over a year ago where a random user also mentions that the first female Grand Theft Auto protagonist is a trans woman, but again, there’s no source. So the source of DramaAlert’s unsubstantiated rumor is a second unsubstantiated rumor. Given that the post also jokes that Lucia is “Franklin’s sugar mama,” it’s clear that there’s no solid foundation here.

While it wouldn’t be out of character for Rockstar Games to include a transgender character in Grand Theft Auto 6 (and given the franchise’s focus on social commentary, it will), Lucia is a cisgender woman. If Lucia was anything other than cisgender, that information would’ve leaked alongside the gameplay and plot details that we knew about before the official trailer dropped.

Sadly, this sort of backlash is to be expected when a woman is presented at the front and center of a game’s marketing. It’s a repeat of the situation that happened with Abby in The Last of Us Part 2. Some people are quick to declare a game to be “woke” just because they see a woman.

On the bright side, this seems to be a vocal minority. The response to the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has been overwhelmingly positive, with the trailer approaching 100 million views on YouTube and amassing over 8 million likes at the time of writing. The first look at Lucia, Jason, and the sun-soaked beaches of Vice City has fans desperate for more information. More GTA 6 trailers are surely on the way, and it’s still a long road to the game’s 2025 release date.

Fortnite’s movement and animation system has been completely reworked with the release of Chapter 5 Season 1, and many diehard fans are upset. Epic Games has added features called motion matching and procedural layering to Fortnite’s animations, resulting in more fluid transitions between walking, running, shooting, and everything that a Fortnite player does during a match. Everything is much slower now. While the sprint feature remained mostly unchanged, walking, crouching, and strafing are all significantly slower as of Chapter 5 Season 1. The feeling of slowness is exacerbated by the new, more realistic animations, too, so all the build-crazy 14-year-olds hopped up on energy drinks are feeling the nerf. The change has even led to Epic developers getting harassed by players on social media, which is sadly not a first for the online gaming community.

The uproar led to an official response from Epic Games stating that the changes are here to stay and they may take some time to get used to. The developer confirmed that running and sprinting are now slightly slower but stamina recovers more quickly, and sideways and backward movement is actually faster now. On top of that, crouching is slower but stealthier.

According to Epic, the changes were intended to encourage more strategic decision-making in each moment in addition to improving Fortnite’s visual fidelity. The changes to crouching are the best example of this, letting players sneak up on enemies more easily at the cost of slower movement speed. Despite its intentions, Epic reassured players that it is still listening to feedback but hopes that the community will take some time to adjust to the new changes.

If you’re one of the players who’s feeling the harshness of the movement changes, then Epic recommends checking your settings, particularly if you play with a keyboard and mouse. Some of your keybinds and control settings may not match well with the new changes, especially since Fortnite players now have to fight years of muscle memory to try and learn the new movement style.

Destiny 2 Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon Release Date

Warlord’s Ruin, the second dungeon in the year of Lightfall, is set to be unveiled on December 1 at 9 AM PT. New Operator: Tubarão

The latest season of Rainbow Six Siege introduces Tubarão, a Defender hailing from sunny Portugal. With his Zoto Canister, Tubarão has the ability to disrupt both gadgets and opponents by creating a cold zone, providing him with a unique advantage on the battlefield.

New Map: Lair

The new season brings with it a new map, Lair. This facility, discovered on the coast of Portugal by members of Wolfguard, serves as Deimos’ base of operations. Reputation Update

Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace Beta

The first wave of DLC content is currently just one season pass that can be purchased after the 16th of November. The season pass is $25 and will include 5 individual packs along with a new costume for Naruto Uzumaki that’s based on his appearance during the end of the Great Ninja War.

The first pass will be released somewhere around December 31st. However, with how fresh and new the game is, this could be a placeholder for a more concrete date, and more information on the beginning of the DLC releases is bound to be on the horizon.

A recent tweet done by MoeruStorm shows PNG images and links of the 5 possible characters bound to appear as playable fighters in the upcoming season pass. Each character will be released one at a time over several months, similar to how most DLC packs are usually done for fighting games like Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Leaks suggest that the fighters in the upcoming DLC are the following:

Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 is set to kick off sometime in December (hopefully sooner rather than later), bringing a handful of new 6v6 maps to the game alongside additional Zombies content and Warzone integration. While the latest Call of Duty blog post showcased a new Zombies Wonder Weapon, more information about the new Urzikstan Warzone map, and details about the returning Gunfight mode, the MW3 community immediately focused its attention on Meat.

There are 3 brand new 6v6 Multiplayer maps coming to Modern Warfare 3 in Season 1. The first 2, which thankfully include Meat, will be available on day one. The third, Rio, will launch mid-season.

Greece and Rio are beautiful, but they’re fairly self-explanatory with the former set in a coastal Greek town and the latter taking place in a dense shopping center. Meat is the real curveball of the trio, letting players battle in a cramped slaughterhouse. It’s a small map too, so there’s a chance that this joins the likes of Shipment and Shoothouse as a fan-favorite if it’s well-suited for camo farming.

Of course, MW3 players have unsurprisingly already pointed out that they’re quite excited to grind on Meat. The launch of a new Call of Duty season typically brings new playlists centered around the new content with it as well, so it’s likely that fans will be able to grind on Meat 24/7. Truly exciting times, especially if the Grind game mode makes a return in an upcoming season.

All jokes aside, new maps will be great for injecting even more life into the stellar Multiplayer package on offer in Modern Warfare 3. The game launched with a roster of remastered MW2 maps without a signal original locale in sight, so these 3 will help spice things up a bit. Sledgehammer has committed to releasing a decent number of 6v6 maps with every new MW3 season too, so Multiplayer fans won’t be left in the dust this year.

All jokes aside, Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 is shaping up to be solid. Multiplayer fans will be able to enjoy a suite of new maps plus the returning Gunfight and All or Nothing modes. Zombies fans have Aether Rifts and a new Wonder Weapon to look forward to, and of course, Season 1 marks the beginning of MW3’s Warzone integration including the new Urzikstan map.

In the meantime, there’s still plenty to do in Modern Warfare 3’s preseason period. Completing weekly challenges will get you closer to unlocking the awesome Golden River camo, and Zombies is a great way to grind weapon XP to max out both MW3 and MW3 guns.

What Types of Haki Exist?

Haki can be divided into three different sub-types, each granting its user unique abilities. The first and most common one is known as Armament Haki. This type covers its users’ bodies in Haki, which acts like a suit of armor.

The second is known as Observation Haki, often referred to as a sixth sense. Those who can access it can perceive things that are invisible to the naked eye and even see into the future.

While Maomao assumed that the oldest of the two was the mother-in-law, her friends corrected her, telling her that it was the other way around.

Later that day, Maomao began receiving pins from various important members of the Royal Family, although she did not understand what they represented. When the time for the meal arrived, Maomao discovered that the soup was poisoned, alerting everyone. Jishin talked with her about possible culprits, but Maomao ignored him, preferring to talk with the Pure concubine.

Maomao noticed that the young woman was fed a fish that caused her an allergic reaction. She told her food taster to be more careful in the future, as this could have been deadly. Jishin noticed how stern Maomao was with the food tester and deduced that his friend believed the Pure Concubine to be the assassin’s target.

The SVA 545 features a two-shot burst at first and then enters into an automatic fire rate, making it diverse in the Assault Rifle category. While the recoil is decent on this gun, you will want to focus on reducing it further to ensure you can land shots more consistently.

Adding the Underbarrel, Rear Grip, Stock, and Muzzle mentioned above will help with recoil, improving accuracy tenfold. On top of that, adding the STV Precision Barrel will increase both range and accuracy.

As for the ammunition and magazine, the 5.45 high grain will keep the damage you do from a more extensive range high, while the 45-round mag will allow you to fire off more shots, leading to a higher kill count. I recommend not adding an optic to the SVA 545, considering the sights are already solid on the gun.

This is the best setup to go along with the SVA 545 for many reasons. First, the Infantry Vest is one of the first vests you’ll unlock while playing Modern Warfare 3, and it has the bonus effect of increasing the duration of Tac Sprint, allowing you to be quicker on the battlefield.

As for equipment, it’s great to go with the three options: Stun or Frag Grenade, Breacher Drone, and Trophy System. The grenade comes down to preference, as you can succeed in choosing either one of them, but the Lethal and Field Equipment should remain.

The Trophy System is a great defensive choice as it will destroy up to three nearby pieces of equipment, helping with survival. And then you can become more deadly by sending off a Breacher Drone, which hunts down and instantly kills a target when making contact. Combining these two can help you with a higher kill-death ratio.

Now, regarding gear, you’ll see the most improvement using the Stalker Boots, Scavenger Gloves, and EOD Padding. The Stalker Boots increases strafe speed and ADS movement speed, making it more challenging for opponents to take you out. On the other hand, Scavenger Gloves makes it so you never run out of ammo, enabling you to pick up additional ammo off dead players. Lastly, EOD Padding will reduce the damage you take from explosives, which is especially helpful against players who like to throw a frag across the map.

Goblin Slayer went to see the Sword Maiden, as it had been one year since they had seen each other. The next morning, as the party continued their journey, they were attacked by Goblins out of nowhere.

If that doesn’t sound like a steal that’s because dozens of players believe it isn’t for a good reason. Commenters on the Reddit thread discussing the celebration have shown disinterest and criticism of this “overpriced microtransaction” and Niantic’s apparent greed.

Should You Go For This?

The 10M Downloads pack is more or less the same as the Starter Pack but with less value. One less potion which is important in taking hits and recovering in battle. The two carving knives are only useful if you manage to get lucky with a decent role of materials to double the rewards. Finally, the bonus gems are only handy for doubling material rewards and obtaining items like wander drops and paintballs.

That said these bonuses are few and far between and for $7, you are much better off either sticking with the Starter Pack or not buying any of it at all. Several comments from Reddit already expressed how unnecessary this pack is and that despite the consensus that Monster Hunter Now has “the best gameplay on mobile” It’s apparent that Niantic still misses the mark on other major aspects.

Honestly, there are much worse monetization schemes from more expensive video games. The issue here according to the comments on Reddit is that they “can’t even buy anything really useful with this overpriced pack like in Pokemon Go”.

Monster Hunter Now may have a funny way of rewarding its download count but it’s still a game that can be played without needing any of these packs. Niantic does a good job emulating the Monster Hunter grind of finding monsters, killing monsters, getting their parts, and making weapons/armor out of it in mobile form.

Even the frustrations of wanting a certain material and not getting it during the hunt are the lifeblood of the experience. In short, this celebration was fairly lackluster and fans have a right to slam it.

According to Fortnite.gg’s tracker, 3.3 million players were playing Fortnite OG at the same time in the season’s first hour. That record was broken once again within the next hour, boasting 3,913,817 players all rediscovering the magic of Fortnite’s first chapter simultaneously.

UPDATE: Epic Games has confirmed that November 4 2023 was the “biggest day in Fortnite’s history,” boasting 44.7 million players and 102 million hours played. The game reached an even higher peak with over 5.9 million after this article was originally published.

It’s important to note that player counts have only been trackable through Epic Games’ API since April 2023. Fortnite’s current record for concurrent players isn’t publicly available.

Fortnite OG’s player count and thirty-minute queues show just how much the community cherishes the good ‘ol days of ATKs, shopping carts, rocket launchers, and the beloved SCAR. Many players online are already advocating for Fortnite OG to be implemented as a permanent mode once the season is over, and I’m inclined to agree.

What is Fortnite OG?

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG has four major updates planned, each bringing back a different phase of Fortnite’s early history into the game. Each week, old items, weapons, vehicles, locations, and game features return for a blast to the past.

Fortnite OG also features the OG Pass, a Battle Pass filled with over 50 cosmetics inspired by Chapter One. My personal favorite is Lil Split, a mashup of two of Fortnite’s most delicious skins, Peely and Lil Whip.

The Item Shop has also been replaced with the OG Shop, sporting a design similar to the original shop. The OG Shop will feature classic skins, mashups, and a handful of brand-new cosmetics, such as the upcoming Stranger Things collab discovered in the files.

You have one month to check out Fortnite OG before Season 6, the rumored Lego Season, or whatever else Epic Games has up its sleeve once this season ends on December 2, 2023, at 10 pm ET.

Is Daredevil Coming to Spider-Man 2?

While Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 doesn’t have any confirmed DLC plans announced by Insomniac, there is a large update coming to the game in December adding new suits and gameplay features plus more news regarding the game, so fans have been swinging through the streets of New York in search of secrets and answers hinting at potential new content coming to Spider-Man 2.

A major hint has already been found, as some Spider-Man 2 players have discovered a secret room located in the Upper West Side portion of the map. A seemingly inaccessible building has a suspiciously detailed interior, and a well-placed web shot will open the door and grant access to the room inside.

Marvel fans believe that this room is a hideout for The Hand, a faction that Daredevil regularly battles. There’s not much to see or do in this room at the moment, but the fact that the door is able to be opened and players can walk inside suggests that it’s important.

This becomes even more suspicious when paired with a cryptic tease from Bryan Intihar, Spider-Man 2’s Senior Creative Director. A Nelson & Murdock plaque outside of the pair’s office was removed in Spider-Man 2, and when asked about the disappearance on a podcast, Intihar coyly replied “Stay tuned. Good find though.”

Other Marvel heroes do exist in the world of Spider-Man 2 (even if most of them are absent during the game’s events) but this Daredevil tease is much more concrete than the other easter eggs featured in the game. With a standalone Wolverine game on the way — one that takes place in the same universe as Spider-Man 2 — it looks like Insomniac has been given room to expand its universe of Marvel characters.

It’s unclear if this Daredevil tease will lead to just story DLC or a smaller standalone sequel in the vein of Miles Morales, but it looks like something exciting is on the way regardless. Plus, with Wilson Fisk entirely absent from Spider-Man 2, it’s possible that Insomniac was saving the Kingpin for a Spider-Man/Daredevil team-up.

Even without DLC, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is already one of the best games of the year with a solid foundation and exceptional traversal. We awarded it 4.5 out of 5 stars in our review, saying “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is peak Spider-Man thanks to better UI, better villains, a better story, a bigger world, Web Wings, and two Spider-Men.” More content would only sweeten the deal.

How to Unlock Developer Mode in Cities Skylines 2

Developer mode in Cities Skylines 2 is a hidden feature that allows players to access a variety of powerful tools and features that are not available in the base game. These tools can be used to create custom mods, troubleshoot problems, and even build entire cities from scratch.

To activate developer mode in Cities Skylines 2, follow these steps:

1. Open Steam
2. Go to your games library
3. Right-click on Cities Skylines 2
4. Select Properties
5. Click on the General tab
6. In the Launch Options field, type the following code:
   • –developerMode
7. Click OK to save your changes
8. Launch Cities Skylines 2
9. Press the Tab key to open the developer console
   • To hide the developer console, press the Tab key again

The developer console is a black window that will appear on the left side of your screen. It contains a variety of commands that you can use to control the game and its environment. Once you have activated developer mode, you can access a variety of new features and options in Cities Skylines 2.

A useful feature of the game is Unlimited funding, which gives you the freedom to build and upgrade without any monetary issues. There are other features, like changing the day to night and things like that. Before you go overboard, be sure to explore the developer console to see all of the options that are available to you.

I’d like to point out that I’ve done this to almost every game and the worst thing you can do is mess around too much. Don’t be like me and have to uninstall games to fix issues. A developer mode is a powerful tool, but it can also be dangerous. If you are not careful, you can easily crash your game or corrupt your save files and your game. Be sure to use developer mode with caution and make backups of your saved files before making any major changes.

Spider-Man 2 Aunt May Grave Location

Aunt May’s grave is located in the northwest corner of the map. There’s a graveyard in Harlem where multiple Marvel faces are laid to rest, including Jefferson Davis and Uncle Ben, and now Aunt May is resting peacefully among them. May’s headstone isn’t that elaborate and it blends in with the several others in the graveyard, but a small circular icon will appear once you get close enough that will point you in the right direction. You can see the exact location of Aunt May’s grave on the map below.

Remember, you have to be playing as Peter in order to interact with Aunt May’s grave. If you’re playing as Miles, you won’t see the prompt to interact with it. You can switch between the two Spider-Men at any time by swiping on the touchpad to open the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app. Once you interact with the grave, you’ll unlock the “You Know What to Do” trophy!

While Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s trophy list is fairly straightforward — there are a lot of bases and outposts to clear — there are a few trophies that require you to visit unmarked locations throughout New York. You’ll need to round the bases at the Big Apple Ballers Stadium, for example, so keep an eye out for any landmarks that catch your eye when swinging through the city.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 239 Leaks: Kenjaku Kicks Back and Watches Gojo Die Like a Boss

Kenjaku and his myriad machinations have taken a backseat throughout recent chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen; however, leaks for Chapter 239 show that the chapter wastes no time bringing him back to the forefront. The chapter opens with a pink-haired reincarnated sorceress confronting Kenjaku, only to be killed almost immediately. Soon after, Hazenoki arrives to challenge Kenjaku, who responds by lying down, pulling out a cell phone, and watching recorded footage of Sukuna killing Satoru Gojo, casually commenting that the World’s Strongest Sorcerer was wearing a “good-looking face” when he died.

After explaining that he’s been using curses to observe the battle unfolding in Shinjuku, Kenjaku unleashes a tidal wave of cursed spirits against the reincarnated sorcerer. Hazenoki is soon overwhelmed and restrained, and Kenjaku explains that he plans to kill all of the Culling Game’s participants before moving forward with his master plan.

Takaba then leaps into the fray, striking a fittingly extravagant pose. Kenjaku responds by blasting the failed comedian with a flood of cursed spirits and is left flabbergasted when Takaba somehow survives the attack completely unscathed.

What Happens to Iori Hazenoki and Fumihiko Takaba?

Based on the scans, it doesn’t look like Hazenoki will survive his engagement with Kenjaku. If the image in one of the leaked panels is anything to go off of, the reincarnated sorcerer was a fatal blow by Kenjaku’s wave of cursed spirits. Still, he gives Kenjaku a sick burn on the way out by telling him that he should look at his feces every morning if he wants to study something so badly.

Takaba, on the other hand, manages to emerge from the Kenjaku’s attack unharmed and forces Kenjkau to drop his cavalier attitude. With Jujutus Kaisen back on its weekly schedule, fans won’t have to wait long to see how the battle between Kenjaku and Takaba will play out.

Switch from COD Warzone to DMZ for an Easier Time With Haunting Boss Challenges

That’s right: you can play DMZ in the Al Mazrah map to complete the Operation Nightmare Haunting challenges instead of grinding them in COD Warzone! I for one was relieved by this option, as it allows players to go into a game fully kitted out with a sufficient loadout to raid the Ghost Train or pump the Butcher full of lead.

The biggest bonus to choosing DMZ over Warzone in the Haunting event is simple: fewer players to ruin your run. While NPCs are dotting the map to make up for this difference, they’re far easier to clear. As our editor Diego Perez puts it, “24 players vs. 150 players is a HUGE difference” and you’ll be far less stressed trying to clear the event. This means clearing the anomalies for the UFO, taking down the Butcher, and even spotting those pesky evil spirits.

However, there is one downside I’ve noticed is the lack of aerial deployment, forcing you to find the objectives on foot or by land vehicle. But it’s a worthy trade-off for completing these extremely fun events in Call of Duty: Warzone & DMZ, so get out there, squad up with friends, and get into the spirit of the season!

How to Get Into the Basement in the Western Outer Courtyard in AC Mirage

In order to get into the basement, you will first have to know where the entrance actually exists in the courtyard. As shown on the map and image above, you will find it on the northwest side of the House of Wisdom. During the Great Symposium quest, you will be able to get into the basement by obtaining a gardener’s key.

Once you have the key needed, you can make your way to the small structure canopy and then on the ground will be a wooden trapdoor. I found it is very easy to spot the trapdoor so you won’t have any issues with this. Go up to the trapdoor with the key, hold to interact, and you will then be able to go into the basement from there.

Where to Find the Basement Key in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

The best way to quickly find the Basement Key is to use Enkidu and focus on the southern rooftop area, eventually, you will easily spot the rooftop gardener who has the key. Go up there and pickpocket the gardener to acquire the key needed.

Now that you know how to get into the basement in the Great Symposium mission, you can go and grab the key for yourself and explore the area.

Why Does Anya Have Psychic Powers in Spy x Family?

The world of Spy x Family is firmly grounded in reality, but Anya’s telepathy has always been one of the few exceptions. Anya’s telepathy allows her to read other people’s and animals’ minds, allowing her to discover the true feelings and intentions of those around her. This ability has allowed Anya to uncover the secrets that every member of her adoptive family keeps close to their chest, making her the only character in the series to have the same level of insight into the inner workings of the Forger family as the readers.

While more recent chapters of Spy x Family have delved into Anya’s adoptive parents’ pasts, Anya’s origins and those of her telepathy have remained shrouded in mystery. However, flashbacks peppered through the series have revealed that Anya was “created” in a laboratory by an unknown organization that clinically referred to her as “Test Subject 007.”

While it has not been confirmed, the “Project Apple” scientists who experimented on the Forger family’s dog Bon look similar to the ones featured in Anya’s memories, implying that Anya may have been created to be a bioweapon. Since the government of Ostania carried out Project Apple, Anya’s creators may have planned to use her to spy on their neighbor, Westalia.

Regardless of their intentions, the scientists who created Anya did not give her an ideal upbringing. During her time in the facility, Anya was denied the chance to enjoy a normal childhood and forced to partake in exhaustive mental exercises to strengthen her psychic abilities. This constant mental abuse eventually drove Anya to run away from her creators. This brave and dangerous decision ultimately allowed her to find a new, happier life with her adoptive family.

Prevent Miasma Infection

There is a green mist throughout the Fae area that is largely avoidable outside the Floating Ruins. However, once you’re inside, it consumes the area and will require you to have a potion to breathe. In order to make the potion you’ll need a Fae Critter Conservatory, Potion Brewing Cauldron, and Potion Ingredients Station. To get the materials to build these, your tools will need to be upgraded to iron.

Fae Critter Conservatory:

• 5 Flutterwood Lumber
• 5 Stone Brick
• 20 Clover Feed
• 20 Mulch

Potion Brewing Cauldron:

• 2 Iron Ingot
• 2 Copper Ingot
• 2 Oak Lumber
• 20 Rough Citrine
• 20 Rough Peridot

Potion Ingredients Station:

• 2 Flutterwood Lumber
• 5 Clay Brick
• 2 Glass

At these stations you can begin to make Fairbreath Potions. I found the Small Fairbreath Potion to last long enough for a few levels of the dungeon at a time, just enough to go back and make more seals with the new stuff at the higher levels. To make a Small Fairbreath Potion you’ll need:

• 2 Steel Cut Clover
• 1 Blob Gob

The Steel Cut Clover is obtained by putting four Clover Feed onto the Potion Ingredients station and the Blob Gob is left behind in the Fae Critter Conservatory by Bloblins. Once you have a few potions, you’ll be ready to enter the Floating Ruins.

All Floating Ruins Seals

Just like in the Saltwater Mines before this, the dungeon progression of the Floating Ruins in Fae Farm is done through a series of seals on podiums at the entrance of each floor. Place the right seal on the podium and you can instantly teleport to that floor for the remainder of the game. Not every floor will take the same kind of seal. If you want to be proactive and start making the seals before you reach the higher floors, here’s what you’ll need.

Floating Ruins Ores and Gems

Once you get to the Fae area, you’ll need a lot of the ores and gems found here throughout the game. These resources are not found on all levels and tend to be found in greater numbers in the middle range of the floor they are found on. The exact number will be different each time, but when you’re teleporting you’ll see the drop rates.

Other resources in the Floating Ruins include Shade Jelly and Sporewood Logs found on every level and Sporeweeds which begin appearing on floor seven and last throughout.

Floating Ruins Enemy Locations

In addition to mining, another way to get some resources and level up your Magic ability is by fighting the enemies in the Floating Ruins. As you defeat them you’ll receive random drops of materials. This is only applicable to your first time on these floors. After this, you may run into these enemies at any time.
