Please, note that the Jutusu Kaisen chapter release date schedule might change due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the author’s condition and problems with the magazine. To use creative codes in Fortnite, you must start a creative server. You can do this almost immediately after you launch Fortnite Creative Mode by pressing the yellow “Launch” button that pops up. After you’ve logged into your new server, you must track down a Rift.
Rifts are swirling portals found in creative servers that can be used to host several popular games. There should be a Rift somewhere in yours, so look around until you find it. Once you have, select “Set Island Code” and input your chosen code.

]]>Foamstars is set to be released on the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4. Many onlookers have quickly noted Foamstar’s similarities to Splatoon, with both being cartoony titles that trade the gritty aesthetic that defines most multiplayer shooters for a colorful one geared toward younger audiences.
Many PlayStation owners (including myself) have complained about the console’s lack of non-Fortnite family-friendly shooters for years, and Square Enix is likely looking to fill that niche. Unfortunately, this means that gamers who don’t own a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 won’t be able to join the foamy-fun.
Foamstars is set to launch on February 6th, 2024. The game will be available as a standalone retail title and part of Playstation Plus’s February Game Bundle. If you have a PlayStation Plus account, you can play the game for free if you claim it before the end of February. If you aren’t subscribed to PlayStation Plus, you must purchase the game for $29.99.
Like many other online multiplayer shooters, Foamstars is a live-service title, so you won’t be able to start throwing foam with your friends until the game’s servers go live in your local timezone. ]]>Aside from the Light Dragon, all Dragons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom follow a relatively short route during a specific in-game time. We found that adding each Dragon to the Hyrule Compendium made tracking them far easier, as you can use Sensor+ to follow them.
Farosh, the dragon of lightning, can be found in the southeastern corner of Hyrule and is arguably the most difficult returning dragon to track in Tears of the Kingdom. While it’s easy to glide over to Farosh from the island near Gerudo Canyon Sky Tower, Farosh’s body is electric, and you will be shocked you are wielding a metal sword or shield.
On top of being shocked, Farosh will begin to fire clusters of electricity at you once you get too close. If you want to live long enough to collect Farosh’s materials, you should think about getting the Rubber armor set or down a few electricity-resistant potions.
Farosh emerges from the depths at East Gerudo Chasm between 12:00 and 1:00 PM. It travels north around Gerudo Canyon before making its way west into Faron, where it passes over the Great Plateau before descending back underground through the Chasm south of Hills of Baumer.
I’ve found Naydra to be the easiest of the three elemental dragons to collect materials from. Not only do you have an almost perfect vantage point on the dragon from Mount Lanaryu Skyview Tower, but chances are you’ve picked up the Snowquill armor set at Rito Village or have some cold-resistant dishes and elixirs.
With these additional heat sources, staying warm on Naydra’s back shouldn’t be an issue, but be careful to avoid the chunks of ice the dragon will throw at you.
Naydra has claimed the southwestern regions of Hyrule as its territory. Like Farosh, Nadray will emerge onto the surface at about 1:00 PM from the Lanaru Snowfield Chasm. Once it’s in the air, Naydra will fly south over the Necluda Sea before looping around and soaring between East Necluda and Hateno Village. After passing by east of Kakariko Village, Naydra will descend back into the Depths at the East Hill Chasm.
With a serpentine figure coated head-to-tail in flames and a nasty habit of throwing fireballs at anything that moves, Dinraal is easily the hardest of the three standard elemental dragons to collect materials from. Once you’ve cooked up some heat-resisting dishes or scavenged the Ember armor set, you can dive down onto its back from Sokkala Sky Archipelago and start harvesting.
Dinraal makes its home in the skies of Hyrule’s northwestern territories. Unlike its kin, Dinraal will rise out of the depths between 5:00 and 6:00 PM through East Akkala Plains Chasm.
Once fully aboveground, Dinraal will sail north through the skies over Deep Akkala before hanging west and traveling just north of Death Mountain. After passing by the Great Hyrule Forest, Dinraal will return to the Depths by diving into the Drenan Highlands Chasm.
The Light Dragon is the only new elemental dragon introduced in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it’s also the most unique. Unlike Farosh, Naydra, and Dinraal, the Light Dragon does not follow a small route tied to a specific region. Instead, the Light Dragon circles the entirety of Hyrule, sticking to the far reaches of the map and sailing at a much higher altitude than its kin.
As it is constantly patrolling Hyrule, the Light Dragon does not have a specific spawn time. While you can reach the Light Dragon at any point in the game, you should wait until after you’ve collected the twelve Dragon’s Tears hidden throughout Hyrule or met the Great Deku Tree. Once you’ve completed one of these objectives, the Light Dragon will descend to a lower altitude, making it much easier to reach and reclaim the repaired Master Sword from its head.
Now that you know all the dragons, their locations, and spawn times, you’ll want to learn how to farm their materials. As you reach these dragons, you’ll notice they are either glowing or in their standard form. The glowing form is the only time you can gather materials from the dragon, so if you reach the dragon and it isn’t glowing — all you need to do is wait.
You can do this by waiting on the head of the dragon, and the good news is that it won’t knock you off. Dragons glow every ten real-world minutes, so be patient, and once it does glow, you’ll be able to get all materials, such as a Horn, Spike, Claw, and Scale!

This server goes above and beyond to provide its user base with a solid experience. First-person only and zero tolerance towards cheating make this strict but still well worth it. From providing players with regular daily events to its complex base-building feature, you will pour hours into XDC.
Players can find clothing, cars, helicopters, and tons of military gear throughout the map, adding to the reward system of exploring. It is important to note that all loot is up for grabs regardless of your level, so you must act fast to get the rare finds.
Very few hardcore servers deliver an intense experience as great as Spaggies Namalsk. Starting with nothing but a watch and some flares, it feels like you are deserted on an island as your survival instincts instantly kick in. The brutality of the map has users constantly battling with the cold weather, adding to the survival nature of the game. You can stumble across players willing to lend a helping hand or others with malicious intentions trying to kill you.
Every decision on this server can make or break whether you survive through the night, from choosing whether to go into the city for supplies or build a fire so you can survive the deadly cold. Spaggies Namalsk takes some getting used to, but with practice, this makes for one of the best experiences on DayZ.
Set on the map of Eden, this provides a tropical adventure with many points of interest worth checking out. This is the perfect server for those who want to explore the island and discover locations they haven’t seen before in the base game. Mods are included to improve clothing and building, and one that even adds a tiger to your gameplay.
Mostly filled with PVP, you’ll want to watch your back as there isn’t much team-based combat, although sometimes you may get lucky and run into a friendly ally. That said, there aren’t many players online at one time, allowing you to let the explorer in you shine through for a more relaxing experience.
This is the perfect server for players who want to play PVE instead of PVP. Set on one of the most excellent maps of DayZ, it has everything you want from a server and more. Archon provides players with unique vehicles, safe zones, helicopters, trading, law, base building, weapons and clothing, and more.
Integrated into the server is a zero-kill policy, meaning you won’t have to watch your back for other players trying to kill you and loot your belongings. More importantly, there’s a lot of team-based combat against the zombies, making for one of the most outstanding server communities. It’s also a huge bonus that they have a responsive development team that continuously puts out updates to improve user experience.
If you’re looking to spice up your DayZ experience with a bit of base-building, Lowzone is the server for you. This server is based in Portugal and is populated primarily by Portuguese-speaking players, but those willing to work to overcome the language barrier are in for a fun time.
This server comes ingrained with in-game currency and an in-depth bartering system you can use to trade for materials unique to the server. With these, you can build, expand, and furbish a base of operations. While the players can raid your home, it’s only allowed for a short timeframe during the day, so you’ll have plenty of time to set up defenses.
DayZ is already a pretty scary game, but DayZ Dystopia cranks the horror to eleven. Everything about this server is designed to make the zombie survival experience at the heart of DayZ even more terrifying. I’m both happy and afraid to report that it succeeds.
The zombies of DayZ Dystopia are even more aggressive than they are in the main game, so even the most experienced DayZ players will have to step up their game to avoid becoming food for the dead. Combine this with a black market system and a faction-based roleplay mechanic, and you’ve got a DayZ server that will satisfy players looking to experience the zombie apocalypse as viscerally as possible.
Let’s be honest; sometimes, you want to go mano y mano with another player with whom you’ve developed a serious (and hopefully healthy) rivalry. If you’re ready to face off with a dedicated friend/enemy, Kryptic is your best Dayz server.
These servers spotlight the competitive aspects of DayZ’s gameplay formula, seeding the in-game world with powerful weapons while nearly eliminating crafting/survival elements for the equation. Even zombies are rare on these servers; it’s just you, your fellow players, and everything you could ever need to settle a good old-fashioned grudge.
Rearmed is a prime example of a DayZ server that exists only to push the boundaries of what the main game can be. At its core, Rearmed is practically a vanilla server, but every baseline feature has been expanded to its reasonable extreme.
Rearmed introduced new weapons, vehicles, and gameplay mechanics like lockable doors and fully customizable missions, many of which are pulled directly from the popular team-based shooter Escape from Tarkov. These elements work seamlessly to deliver a high-voltage PVP experience that enhances to DayZ’s gameplay loop without sacrificing too much of its base charm.
DayZ is a complicated game, one that asks a lot more of the player than most other multiplayer shooters. This means it can be difficult for new players to find their footing, but Noobs Only can make the process of beating the learning curve a lot easier.

]]>Nolan North is one of the most prolific VAs in the video game industry, so I wasn’t surprised when I learned he’d landed a pivotal role in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. No, the surprise came when I found out he’d netted two.
Rather than voice one of the playable anti-heroes that comprise the titular team, North will be voicing two characters who will be aiding and opposing the Suicide Squad as they fight to save the world, respectively. The first on the list is Oswald Cobblepot, a.k .a. The Penguin. This cockney crimelord was a major reoccurring villain in the Batman: Arkham series, and he’s back to his old tricks in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, providing the team with the weapons they need to get their gruesome job done.
The second character North will be voicing is one of the deadliest enemies the Suicide Squad will face in the game and arguably the greatest hero the DC Universe has ever known. That’s right, comic fans: North will be lending his voice to the leader of the Justice League and the Man of Steel himself, Superman, whose menacing veiny glare set the stage for the scale of the threat the Suicide Squad is facing in the game’s first trailer.
As I said above, Nolan North has lent his voice to countless video games throughout his career. His most well-known role is that of Nathan Drake, the swashbuckling protagonist of the Uncharted series. He’s also the source of the iconic voice of the Ghost in Destiny and Destiny 2, Dr. Edward Richtofen in Call of Duty’s Zombies mode, and Deadpool in almost every Marvel game ever made, including his titular hack-and-slash solo outing.

The chapter opens with a flashback to Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 243, which ends with a recently decapitated Kenjaku swearing that the Culling Game will fulfill its intended purpose, even if he doesn’t live to see it. Relinquishing control over his Cursed Spirit Manipulation Technique, Kenjaku unleashes a storm of Cursed Spirits, forcing Yuta to give his Cursed Spirit familiar Rika permission to rampage.
Seizing the moment, Kenjaku summons one last Cursed Spirit, which he uses to add a new rule to the Culling Game’s ever-changing rulebook: “The right to invoke the great merger between mankind and Tengen will sit with Fushiguro Megumi.” Yuta finishes Kenjaku off with this katana as soon as the words finish exiting his mouth, but it’s already too late.
We then cut back to the present moment, with Yuta engaging Sukuna in a one-on-one blade duel. Generating a second skin of Cursed Energy blades, Sukuna (literally) holds his own against Yuta’s swordsmanship. Unimpressed with Sukuna’s skill, Yuta admits that he feels responsible for Sukuna’s resurrection because he didn’t kill Suguru Geto all those years ago and unleashes his Domain Expansion: Mutal Love of the Real and Fake.
Shielding himself with his Hollow Wicker Basket Technique, Sukuna realizes what Yuta’s planning: while he’s busy fighting Yuta, Yuji will use his unique ability to grab souls to pull Sukuna out of Megumi. The chapter ends with Yuji getting ready to do just that, striking a fierce grappler’s pose.

Arthur A Angel and Lewin Light interrogate an Illuminati spy, hoping to discover what the secret society has planned. Desperate to save his family, the spy reveals that the Illuminati is planning to abduct Izumo.
At the same time, Nemu Takara confronts Izumo and reveals that he has been instructed to ensure the Illuminati kidnaps Izumo. Fortunately, Renzo Izuma intervenes, summoning his powerful familiar demon Yamantaka and defeating Nemu with surprising ease… only to knock Izumo unconscious when she tries to leave and get help.

Face-to-face with a Steel-Jawed Lycan, Sung fights tooth and nail to stay alive and slay the beast. Eventually, he succeeds and is rewarded with a “Level-Up” that improves his physical attributes. Unfortunately, the death of the Lycan attracts the attention of its pack, who swarm Sung in full force.
With his increased might, Sung slays the pack of Lycans and attempts to exit the dungeon. However, he realizes too late that he’s fallen into a trap and finds himself facing off against a giant, poisonous serpent. In classic anime-protagonist fashion, Sung finds the will to persevere and triumph by remembering his vow to become stronger and kills the snake, receiving a gland of its venom as a reward.
As all this is happening, Sung’s friend Lee Joohee is called on to help slay a stone elemental that broke free from a nearby dungeon. Still traumatized by the disastrous expedition that nearly cost her and Sung their lives, Joohee has trouble healing her fellow Hunters, who are quickly overwhelmed. Fortunately for them, Sung emerges from the dungeon and finishes off the elemental, revealing his newfound strength to Joohee and the assembled crowd.
]]>Luckily, this guide is here to help you learn how to find, farm, and use Wax, so you won’t have to go through what I did. Without further ado, here’s how to find Wax in Enshrouded.
You can get Wax in Enshrouded by finding and foraging beehives. Beehives tend to spawn on trees, and unlike Resin, you don’t have to cut the tree down to collect it. Just walk up to the hive and press E, and you’ll nab yourself a nice big lump of Wax. Alongside Wax, Beehives can also drop Honey, a key ingredient in many of the best recipes in Enshrouded’s surprisingly thick cookbook.
I learned what Wax is used for in Enshrouded once I began investing in expanding my base. The Flame Altar is the heart of your base in Enshrouded, and you’ll need to upgrade it to increase the amount of space you have to work with. Wax is one of the resources you’ll need to strengthen the Flame Altar, and you’ll require a lot of it if you want your base to thrive.
To build a Honey Beehive, you must first find and rescue the Farmer from the Ancient Vault located in the Northen section of the map. Once she’s been freed, the Farmer will travel to your base, unlocking a new set of craftable builds. One is the Honey Beehive, but you’ll need to build a Beehive Smoker. Here’s the recipe for a Beehive Smoker.
Once you’ve built a Beehive Smoker, you can craft a Honey Beehive, which naturally produces Wax and Honey. Here’s what you’ll need to construct a Honey Beehive in Enshrouded.
You’ll need a lot of materials to improve the Flame Alter, but having a Honey Beehive will ensure that you don’t need to go hunting for it. On top of that, the Honey Beehive produces you with Honey, which you can use to cook food that you can heal yourself with.

So far, there have been nine rounds of the potential 13 in the series, with each of these fights in Record of Ragnarok being surprising and intense bouts full of shock and awe.
While round 9 is over in Record of Ragnarok, there have been some spectacular fights with surprising finishes. Despite all of these humans, or Einherjar, being distinctly mortal, their talents and motivations, along with Volund, have given them a unique edge in each fight.

As you can probably guess, since one side needs to claim 7 victories to win the tournament and even round 10 won’t determine the winning side just yet, humanity has clinched a few wins. Layouts have shifted even since the start of the series. For instance, Buddha went from the gods’ side to that of the Einherjar after they convinced him humanity was worth fighting for. The fights of Record of Ragnarok can often also hinge on who has the more compelling backstory, making the gods more sympathetic than expected.
It’s fun to speculate on who will be pitted against whom, with characters like Simo Häyhä, known for his unmatched marksmanship, being an ideal foe for Loki, the Norse god of mischief. And, of course, Rasputin will be a match to watch closely, given his apparent immortality.

Once you find a shop where you want to buy accessories, socks, clothes, and shoes, you need to head instead, approach the counter, and press the ‘Open Store Menu’ button (X on PlayStation, A on Xbox, B on Nintendo Switch). Then, you can try everything before buying it to ensure it fits your player’s style.
If you buy many items and must show them off to other players immediately, you can equip them from the buy menu to wear them out of the store. This means you don’t have to navigate the game’s menus to equip each item, saving you time and hassle.

]]>The Four Bishops are your primary foes in Cult of the Lamb, and they make that fact brutally clear right out the gate when they try to sacrifice you in the game’s intro. Even after you escape your death sentence, the Bishops will do everything in their power to stop you from expanding your cult and feeding The One Who Waits.
Each Bishop will appear before you as you Crusade through their respective Cursed Land to drop some vague lore, threaten your life AND soul, and offer to show mercy if you bow before them. In these moments, you will be given a “Bow to the Bishop?” prompt, with your options being “Bow” or “Refuse.”
If you decide to bow to the Bishop, your followers will lose 20 Faith in you. The strength of its leader is the backbone of every cult, and nothing shakes a cultist’s faith more than seeing their leader show deference to someone or something other than themselves. Now that your followers know that leaders of another religion can bully you around, their reverence for you will be dulled significantly.
Losing Faith is one of the worst things that can happen to you in Cult of the Lamb. The bitter departure of even a single follower can trigger a domino effect that ends with more than a few members of your cult leaving, so you’ll need to hold a sermon and perform a few rituals to renew your follower’s belief in you.
On the other hand, if you decide to be brave and refuse to bow to the Bishop, each scenario in your current Crusade will turn into a battle room. These battle rooms feature enemies that hit harder and are more challenging to take down. Since you stood your ground to the Bishop, they will punish you by making your current Crusade much harder, but you will look strong in front of your followers.

Hoping to attend the school festival, Rin and Shima Renzo begin looking for potential plus-ones. Unfortunately for both of them, every girl in the academy turns them down. Turnip Boy Robs a Bank boasts a much more extensive selection of weapons than its predecessor, and each has unique strengths that can make your latest tour through the Botanical Bank a little more manageable. Many of these weapons have unique spawn conditions, so we’ve broken the arsenal down into different sections based on those conditions.

The Weapon Warehouse is where you go in between your numerous runs through the bank, and one of the many ways you can prepare for your next break-in is by getting weapons provided by the Twins. At the start, you’ll only be equipped with the Pistol and the Broadsword, but you can add new weapons to their catalog by bringing them some of the weapons you find lying around in the bank.
Unlike the weapons you pick up in the bank, the weapons in the Warehouse will always be there, so you don’t have to waste valuable time on a run looking for them. Here’s every weapon you can get by upgrading the Warehouse’s armory

If you were like me, you probably noticed that the Warehouse’s weapon rack has space for a tenth weapon even after you’ve reached the final level of research. This is because there’s one more weapon you can add to it: Turnip Boy’s father’s trusty, Rusty Revolver.
To add this weapon to your collection, you must beat all four of the game’s main bosses at least once. Once you’ve done this, you can buy the Crowbar from the Dark Web. Use the Crowbar on the maintenance hole in the Center Courtyard and fight your way through the sewers. Once you’re through, you’ll end up in the Mysterious Motherload.
At the end of this treasure-filled room, you’ll find Ol’ Stinky holed up in his office, at which point he’ll drop a massive spoiler. He’ll let you look in the chest next to him to prove his statement is true. Inside, you’ll find the revolver alongside Turnip Boy’s father’s old Mafia fedora and a picture of Turnip Boy and his sister. This is one of the saddest moments in the game, but getting one of the best weapons is worth it.
While you start each run through the bank with two weapons stored in the Warehouse, you don’t have to be stuck with them. Every section of the bank has a few naturally-spawning weapons you can pick up and use against your enemies, and most of them will serve you well if you know when to use them.
It’s worth noting that there are several locations where weapons don’t spawn because enemies don’t show up there (unless you’ve run out of time), as well as set places where you can spend money or other resources to buy weapons. Some weapons only showed up in specific rooms, like the demonic-themed weaponry I got for completing the arena challenges in The Other Side.

Just as he’s about to be cleaved in twain by one of the statues that annihilated his adventuring party, Sung suddenly wakes up in a hospital without any injuries. He’s soon greeted by Woo Jinchul, the director of the Hunter Guild’s intelligence division, who reveals that his friend Lee Joohee is alive but undergoing mandatory therapy before questioning how he miraculously survived the disastrous expedition.
Once Jinchul leaves, a series of video-game-like hud screens pop up around Sung, causing him to remember that one of these windows allowed him to survive his ordeal in the dungeon. The screens are extensions of a mysterious entity known as “the System,” which promises to reward Sung with real-life experience points he can use to “level up” in exchange for completing specific “quests.”
“At first, Sung dismisses the System as a trauma-induced hallucination. However, his skepticism is shattered when the System punishes him for not doing his “daily quests” by forcing him to survive an onslaught of monsters for four hours. The next day, he completes his first daily quests, significantly speeding up his recovery.
A few days later, the System guides him to a secret “solo dungeon” and tasks him with clearing it out. Forced into a pack of goblins, Sung finds the will he needs to face his fear by remembering he became a Hutner to support his mother, who suddenly fell into a coma. He manages to kill the goblins, only to be ambushed by a red wolf.
]]>Lethal Company arms you with specialized pieces designed to help you navigate the levels, kill enemies, and improve your ship. Some items are useless, so we’ve made a separate section for them in this guide. Without further ado, here are all the equipment items in the game.
In this section, you will find all the “helpful” equipment in Lethal Company and how to use them. You must purchase most items here from the Terminal Store, so keep your eyes peeled for bundles of credits. Make sure to equip your hot bar with the items to use them.

You can also get some equipment pieces for your ship besides standard equipment. So far, there are two ship equipment items in Lethal Company: The Loud Horn and Teleporter. Below, you can find what they do and how to use them.
Players can get the Loud Horn from the Store menu inside the Terminal for 150 credits. When you purchase the Loud Horn, you can use it by holding the Loud Horn Rope inside your ship. This will cause the horn to make a noise and lure all nearby enemies and creatures to the front of the ship.
Players can purchase the Teleporter from the Store in the Terminal for 400 credits. When you want to use the Teleporter, all you need to do is press the button next to the Ship controls of your ship. Doing so will teleport you from the abandoned facility, acting as a fast-travel item.

While playing Lethal Company, you will come across items that are not very useful, whether an old phone or a toy robot. Some items can be dangerous, so you should collect them as salvage instead of adding them to your permanent inventory. These items don’t serve a purpose and are “miscellaneous.” Check them all out in the grid below.

As they descend into the catacombs beneath the dungeon’s second level, Laios loses a crossguard ornament his sister Falin gave him. However, he doesn’t get much time to brood as the party soon comes across a hall full of animated, unkillable armor.
Showing a surprising intellect, Laios notices that the suits are bent on guarding the room on the other side of the hall. While the rest of the party holds the armor, Laios sprints into the room only to find a more ornate suit of armor waiting for him. During the duel that follows, Laios realizes that the suit of armor is going out of its way to protect an egg sack attached to the back of its shield.
After he manages to chop off the armor’s head, Laios discovers that a colony of mollusks is animating the suit. Using the egg sack as a distraction to save his comrades, Laios and Senshi cook the mollusks into a stir-fry soup the group guzzles down before they move on to the next level of the dungeon.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a top-shelf example of a game that takes a simple concept and runs so far away with it that it ends up on another continent. By the end of the game, our intrepid hero’s quest to dodge his taxes evolved into an epic struggle to overthrow the city of Veggieville’s tyrannical mayor and avenge his family. Fortunately for fans of the original, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank’s story is just as off-the-wall absurd as its predecessor’s.
With Veggieville reduced to ruins due to a civil war, Don Dillipino of the Dillipino Crime Family decides to take advantage of the chaos and steal the “Mysterious Motherload” hidden within the Botanical Bank. However, this is easier said than done, as the bank’s ruthless owner, Ol’ Stinky, has pulled out all the stops to build a bank so big, it can’t fail. Knowing he can’t outfox Ol’ Stinky alone, Dillipino recruits Turnip Boy into his gang, gives him a gun, and sends him off to the races.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank’s narrative doesn’t give Shakespeare a run for his money, but it did make me care about the game’s post-apocalyptic world and its inhabitants. While the plot of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion went almost exclusively for laughs, its sequel is full of surprising revelations and emotional character interactions that play out without being immediately defused by a joke. Once my 10-hour journey through the Botanical Bank ended, I was genuinely sad that my time with Turnip Boy and his crew was over.
One of the most significant issues players and critics had with Turnip Boy Commts Tax Evasion was that its Legend of Zelda-inspired gameplay was a bit on the sluggish side thanks to its protagonist’s slow walk speed and the game’s clunky combat system. Fortunately, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank’s gameplay formula suffers from exactly none of those issues.
Borrowing inspiration from rogue-like dungeon-crawlers like Hades and The Binding of Isaac, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank challenges you to progress deeper and deeper into the Botanical Bank across multiple runs. As Turnip Boy, you’ll need to fight through a series of rooms and hallways filled with enemies, acquiring as much money as possible by robbing cash from unsuspecting patrons or looting various treasures up for display in fancy, easily breakable cases.
The amount of time you can spend galavanting through the bank is limited by a timer on display in the right corner of the screen. As I learned the hard way, a steady stream of enemies will start rappelling into the bank once this hits zero, forcing you to retreat to your getaway car to escape before you’re overwhelmed. Leaving the bank allows you to return to your gang’s hideout with your spoils, but dying forces you to limp home with half your on-hand cash and none of the treasures you picked up.
If you want to make it to the innermost depths of the Botanical Bank and behold the Mysterious Motherload with your own eyes, you’ll need to use your ill-gotten gains to buy upgrades that will allow you to delve deeper into the complex. From new weapons I could bring with me into each new run to special “Robo-Roid” upgrades that permanently buffed my health and damage, I was never short on new options to consider as I worked to craft a build powerful enough to get me to Ol’ Stinky’s office in one piece.
Like most dungeon-crawler rogue-likes, the road to your final destination is linear in Turnip Boy Robs a Bank. Every new area of the Botanical Bank has only one exit that’s marked clearly on your map. However, the path forward is almost always blocked by an obstacle you won’t be able to clear on your first run, which adds an element of puzzle-solving that adds some welcome spice to your journey.
Unfortunately, the puzzles you need to solve to progress in Turnip Boy Robs a Bank didn’t exercise my brain quite as much as they looked like they would at first glance. While the solutions to these puzzles were as creative as they were amusing, they all followed a strict formula of returning to the hideout and buying whatever you need to advance from the Dark Web. Whether it was a cardboard box or a device that could disassemble a food amalgam, the process of solving every puzzle was never as challenging as I’d hoped it would be.
Fortunately, the linearity of the main route is more than made up for the many branching paths you’ll run into as you run and gun your way through the bank. By stepping into elevators, you’ll find yourself in off-shoot rooms filled with unique treasures to loot and characters to interact with. The variety on display in the game’s main areas is cranked up to eleven in these side rooms: one minute, I was blasting through generic office space; the next, I was taking part in a demonic tournament, joining an atom-bomb-worshipping cult and helping a lonely I.T. guy expand his pet rock collection.
These side-rooms are also the primary way you solve Turnip Boy Robs a Bank’s surprising variety of many side-quests. With the outside world in shambles, the Botanical Bank has become home to many foodfolk refugees who need help with various problems. While most of these side-quests turned out to be fetch quests, solving them always felt worthwhile because I was rewarded with new music, cosmetics, or just some fun dialogue.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank’s answer to its predecessor’s combat problem is as simple as earth-shattering: it gives you a gun. While I started the game with a tiny pistol, my arsenal expanded as I picked up new varieties of firearms from the compost my fallen foes left behind. Fly-shooting frogs, magic wands, and an automatic assault rifle were just some of the ranged weapons I encountered on my trek through the bank, and all of them were fun to use.
Melee weapons also return, but their unwieldiness has been resolved thanks to adding a new trip system that allows you to quickly move away from enemies and dodge oncoming attacks. To my surprise, falling flat on my face saved my life more times than I could count, making learning the attack pattern of every new enemy and boss I encountered much easier.
Turnip Boy’s increased mobility made almost every combat instance into an exhilarating game of duck-and-roll-and-shoot that never lost its charm. Every area of the bank introduced new enemies that challenged my aiming and dodging skills in exciting ways, and each ended in a boss fight against a powerful foe with fun designs and tricky attack patterns. Even as my number of deaths skyrocketed, the level of excited anticipation I felt as I stepped into a boss room never diminished.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a delectable rogue-like that kept finding new ways to bring me back to the dinner table. Addictive run-and-gun gameplay, a colorful art style, and hilarious writing come together to create a memorable first course for 2024. While the game’s puzzles may be a bit underwhelming, the richness of its combat and exploration were more than enough to make up for it.

Sergeant Yeehaw is the easiest boss to find in Turnip Boy Robs a Bank. After you’ve bought the Pickaxe off the Dark Web and used it to chisel away the Ol’ Stinky Statues blocking off the northernmost section of the Fancy Foyer, head west through the only unlocked door. You’ll arrive in the Cowboy Courtroom, standing before Sergeant Yeehaw’s bench.
Once he’s finished delivering his villainous monologue, Yeehaw will drop down and start the fight. The Sergeant is armed with a big machine gun that fires a burst of bullets that travel in a serpentine pattern. Fortunately, the gun’s fire rate is surprisingly slow, and the Sergeant will stop moving whenever he opens fire with it. Therein lies the secret to fighting the law and winning.
Once Yeehaw unleashes a volley of bullets, it’s pretty easy to dodge out of the way and circle him until you’re in a prime position to return fire safely. You might still be stuck using the Pistol and the Sword you started the game with, but I managed to get the Sub-Machine Gun you get from reaching Research Level One, which can reliably chew through Yeehaw’s health bar.
Once you’ve depleted a third of Yeehaw’s health, the Sergeant will fall back to his bench and call in a few food cops. You can’t hit Yeehaw while he’s up there, so clear out the enemies to lure him back down. Yeehaw will drop back down to attack you. I found out while playing that Yeehaw will leave his perch even if there are still enemies, so clear them out as fast as you can so you don’t get overwhelmed.
Once he’s on the last third of his health bar, Yeehaw will again retreat to the bench and call reinforcements, but this time, he’ll try to take potshots at you with a Sniper Rifle. After a few shots, he’ll drop back down to the battlefield, and by this point, it shouldn’t be hard to finish him off.
Beating Sergeant Yeehaw for the first time rewards you with the Green Keycard, which you can use to unlock the door leading into the game’s second area, Seed Stock. Defeating him will also net you his Sniper Rifle, which he’ll drop every time you rematch him.
The Sniper Rifle is one of the better drop-only weapons in Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, allowing you to deal respectable damage from a safe distance. Unfortunately, it didn’t suit my playstyle, so I researched it to unlock other weapons I felt more comfortable using.

The Chainsaw and Dad’s Gun pair well together thanks to their similar damage output and varied attack speeds. Elevators like these will take you to “The Other Side,” where you must complete an enemy gauntlet in the arena for the right to talk to Crangram. Once you’ve cleared the arena, give her the love letter. She’ll give you a drawing of Pomegranate and ask you to deliver it to him.
Once you’ve returned to Pomegranate with Crangram’s drawing, he’ll reward you with a Ring Pop that counts as a jewel-encrusted ring. Head back to the Florist’s tent, and she’ll reward you with an adorable Trans-Rights Pet Rock you can give the Sad Pie.

In a ceremony overseen by a vaguely sinister circle of high-ranking Exorcists, Yukio Okumura is questioned about his relationship with the traitorous Saburota Todo. Lewin Light seems to take particular interest in Rin’s brother, who’s grappling with the crippling fear that he may have inherited his father’s demonic powers after all.
Yukio is soon revealed to be privately tutoring Shiemi Moriyama, using the lesson to reflect on his relationship with his adoptive father, Shiro Fujimoto, and his distrust of Mephisto Pheles. The next day, Yukio partners Shiemi with Izumo Kamika, who still struggles to find the words (and humility) to thank Shiemi for saving her from the Impure King last season.

Picking up where the previous episode ended, Solo Leveling Episode 3 opens with Sung Jin-woo and his party scrambling to stay alive as one of the statues in the room starts blasting them with lasers. Realizing a trio of commandments etched in the center of the room are hidden instructions, Sung convinces the rest of the group to bow in respect, causing the statue to stop attacking.
Unfortunately, the rest of the statues begin squishing Hunters like bugs. Once again, showing his perceptive nature, Sung realizes that statues that aren’t holding weapons are safe to stand near. Sung manages to make it to safety, but not before his leg is severed, an injury that his friend Lee Joohee cannot heal.

The final test (which might be a reference to a classic Dungeons & Dragons puzzle) forces Sung, Joohee, and the surviving Hunters to wait in a safe in the center of the room until a timer hits zero. Unfortunately, most of the Hunters chicken out and run for the exit, leaving Sung, Joohee, and the expedition’s leader, Mr. Song, exposed. Refusing to let his friend die, Sung asks Song to carry Joohee to safety, facing the statues alone to buy them time.
To the surprise of no one (especially himself), Sung is torn to shreds by the statues, losing an arm and being impaled through the abdomen. As he curses his weakness and reflects on his desire to provide for his sister and mother, the statues close in for the kill. At that moment, a mysterious, glowing HUD appears, asking Sung if he wants to live.

Once you’ve earned the admiration of both parties, you can speak to one of your potential partners in your camp and bring up the idea of inviting the other companion you’re interested in to join in on your romantic endeavors. The dialogue option will be worded differently depending on who you’re trying, but the choice should be easy to pick out from the crowd.
It’s important to note that not all companions are open to being in a polyamorous relationship, even if they get along well with the other. Here are all of the companions who would rather keep their romantic relationship with you monogamous in Baldur’s Gate 3.
While the rest of the companions are open to being in a polyamorous relationship, they aren’t willing to be in one with some other companions, no matter how hard you try to convince them. Alternatively, I have noticed some companions who start eager to be with you and someone else but will change their minds as their relationship with you deepens.
Players are still discovering new depths to Baldur’s Gate 3’s romance system, but here are all the interpersonal complications that could come into play as you try to form a polyamorous relationship we’ve encountered so far.
As in real life, a polyamorous relationship in Baldur’s Gate 3 can only survive if all parties respect each other’s feelings and adjust to change. Baldur’s Gate 3’s romance system perfectly captures the effort needed to maintain a polyamorous relationship and the joy it can bring to everyone involved, and it’s a significant step forward in romantic representation in video games.
If you went down the Polygamy route and have maybe changed your mind on the whole ordeal — there is a way to end a romance. Players can end a relationship with another character by selecting the correct dialogue options during regular conversations or in the middle of romance cutscenes.
For the former, sometimes, when you are speaking with the character(s) you are romancing, an option will appear that says, “Let’s talk about us.” Or sometimes it will read, “I want to talk about our relationship.” Once you select this, you will have the option to end it for good.
It’s important to note that players have reported that this dialogue option doesn’t always appear, meaning it may only become available if you have been in the relationship for a certain amount of time. Just keep an eye out for these dialogue choices during romance cutscenes and when speaking with your romance partner.

]]>The rules can be devilishly difficult as time goes on. I will take you through all the rules in The Password Game and how to solve them.
To win The Password Game, you must create a password that adheres to all 35 rules the game throws at you. Not only are the answers to many of the rules extremely unorthodox, but many of them directly require solutions that contradict those of preceding rules, which can force you to drastically alter your password in a way that follows multiple rules simultaneously.
Below you will find an explanation of every rule in The Password Game and the strategies we used to create the ultimate password.
Most of The Password Game’s early rules are something you would run into while making a new password in real life, and the first is no exception. To progress, type a five-character-long password into the input box. While you can make it longer, I recommend keeping it short because a shorter password will be much easier to work with than a long one.
This is another easy one. All you have to do is add a single number to your password if you haven’t already. I recommend using eight since it will make following Rule 5 much more manageable.
Another easy one. If you haven’t already typed an uppercase letter into your password, do so now. I would avoid adding any vowels if I were you, though, because following another rule will be easier if you don’t have more than one vowel.
This is The Password Game’s last remotely standard rule, so enjoy it while it’s here. Add one of the many special characters on your keyboard to follow it. Here is a list of all the ones that count;
Rule 5 is where The Password Game starts to get tricky. The numbers in your password have to add up to 25 before you can progress. I used 889 during my run because it is the shortest equation that adds up to 25. Please don’t get used to it, though, as later rules require adding more numbers to your password.
This rule is self-explanatory, but you should be careful before you choose what month to put in your password. I recommend May since it’s the month with the fewest letters in its name and will keep your password from getting too long. It should also contain one of the few vowels in your password.
Roman numerals have not been the dominant number system since the Middle Ages, but they aren’t hard to figure out if you do a little research (or have watched the Star Wars films). I recommend typing the Roman numeral for 1, I, into your password since it, V (5) and X (10) are the only Roman numerals to be only one letter.
Rule 8 is where The Password Game starts incorporating images into its rules. Once you’ve reached it, a photo will appear showing one of three “sponsors,” Pepsi, Starbucks, and Shell. You can progress by typing the name of one of these companies into your password. I would recommend Pepsi since it’s the easiest to remember
Rule 9 asks you to create another math problem that ends in a specific solution, with the additional caveat of working with Roman numerals. The easiest way to solve this rule is to type the Roman numeral for 35, XXXV. Remember to put the I before the XXXV and capitalize all your digits. Otherwise, they won’t count.
After you’ve reached Rule 10, an image will appear containing a random sequence of numbers and letters. This is called a CAPTCHA, and you’ve probably run into one while making a new password or after failing to log onto a website a few times. Type the CAPTCHA into your password, and you can move on.
Wordle is a word-based puzzle game that gives you a few tries to guess the randomized word of the day, giving you a hint with every incorrect answer. To follow Rule 11, you must type the solution to today’s Wordle Riddle into your password. Wordle puzzles usually aren’t to solve, and you can generally look up the answer to any given day’s riddle by checking the Internet.
The Periodic Table is a list containing the chemical symbol of every element known to man, and you have to type one of these two-letter symbols into your password to solve Rule 12. Any chemical symbol from the Periodic Table will do, but I recommend picking a memorable one like Au, the symbol for gold.
As its description implies, Rule 13 is the first of several rules in The Password Game that requires you to type emojis into your password. We have a great article on how to beat Rule 13, so check it out if you want to know how to move on.
Rule 14 is another rule that requires you to incorporate information from a photo into your password. You will be shown a photo taken in a random country, and it’s up to you to determine where it’s from. Once you know where the photo was taken, add the country’s name to your password.
To follow Rule 15, add a leap year to your password. Leap years have an additional date, February 29th, which occurs four years or so. The nearest leap year is 2024, so feel free to plug it into your password.
Rule 16 is widely regarded as the most brutal rule in The Password Game, and it’s entirely because very few people know what algebraic chess notation is, let alone how to play it. That includes me. Fortunately, we have a great article showing you how to calculate the best algebraic chess notation move for your password, so check it out!
Rule 17 is another rule that requires you to add an emoji to your password. To follow it, do as the textbox asks and put Paul into your password by either copy-and-pasting the emoji or putting on in yourself. You’ll want to put Paul at the start of your password for reasons that will become apparent very soon.
I think this is one of the most humorous rules in the game and as noted, it can catch you by surprise later on.
Rule 18 requires more thought than many other rules since it accounts for all of the letters that could correspond with atomic numbers in its solution. Thankfully, there is an easy way to figure out how to make the value of your atomic numbers equal to 200. Atomicnumber.net has a complete list of the elements and their atomic numbers, so feel free to consult it and get the numbers you need to move on.
As an example of atomic numbers corresponding to letters that add up to the correct total, here are some letters you can have for it to add up to 200.
This rule is self-explanatory. All of the vowels in the password need to be bolded so do this and then you’re all set. The vowels are a, e, i, o, and u so all you have to do is ensure they are properly bolded.
When you reach Rule 20, a bunch of fire emojis will appear in your password and slowly spread out. We already have a guide on how to put out the fire emojis and protect Paul, so pop in and learn how to keep your password from going up in flames. If Paul is fried, you must start The Password Game over from the beginning.
Rule 21 is another rule that asks you to stick an emoji in your password. Just copy and paste the strongman emoji in the text box into your password to give it the strength to pass this test.
Rule 22 is a moment of calm within the storm and a chance for The Password Game’s developer Neal Agarwal to prove that he’s not a complete monster. If the stress of crafting the ultimate password has gotten you down, feel free to take a moment to calm down and recenter yourself. Once you’re ready to move on, type one of the affirmations into your password.
Rule 23 asks you to care for Paul like he is your pet. To feed him, type three worm emojis into your password. Paul will eat them for over a minute, and you must keep providing for him until the end of the game. If you don’t feed him (or try to cheat by giving him more than three worms), he will die, and you’ll have to start the game again from the start.
Rule 24 will bring up a random number and challenge you to scour the archives of YouTube to find a video whose length matches the number. The number is random, so you’ll have to search and hope you get lucky.
Rule 25 is many things, but a liar is not one of them. You cannot use the two letters in your password again once you “sacrifice” them. Choose wisely.
I hope you were keeping track of how many vowels you bolded. You can move on once you’ve italicized double the letters you bolded.
Wingdings is one of the oldest font languages in computing, and you’ll need to convert a good chunk of your password to it to clear Rule 27. You must copy and paste whatever constitutes 30% of your password into a Wingdings font translator, then put it back in.
Once you’ve made it to Rule 28, you’ll be presented with a color that you’ll have to translate into a corresponding hexadecimal color. To do this, memorize your color and figure out its hexadecimal number using a program like Paint. Once you’ve got that, translate it into Color Picker, giving you a corresponding hex color to add to your password.
To clear Rule 29, use the font change button in the text box to change all Roman numerals to the Times New Roman font.
To find the square of every number in your password, multiply it by itself. From there, use the font manager to change the number’s font size to that of its square. I recommend having an online calculator open in a new tab for this so you can keep referring back and checking.
Use the font generator to give every letter in your password a unique font size. There’s no easy way out on this one; you’ve got to do it letter by letter.
This one is a lot easier than it sounds. The size of your password is next to the textbox, so copy and paste it into your password while adjusting for the change it will make to the number.
Prime numbers are any number whose only multipliers are itself and 1, and the chance of a number being a prime gets higher the bigger it is. If your password is not already the length of a prime number, it shouldn’t be hard to find a list online.

Once you’ve confirmed your password, you will have 120 seconds to retype it. If you fail, you will have to start over from scratch. If you succeed, then congratulations! You’ve won The Password Game!

To get the Mythical Pecha Berry in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you must go into your menu and select the Poke Portal Option. Select the Mystery Gift tag when it pops up, and then Connect to Internet. Don’t worry: you don’t need a Nintendo Switch online account, you only need a secure Internet connection.

Realizing they haven’t had a good, fatty meal in a while, the party sets out to gather the eggs of a Basilisk, a massive chicken with a live snake for a tail. Working together to slay the feathery terror, the party cooks the beast’s eggs and shares their meal and a bit of advice with a pair of young adventurers they rescued.
As the party descends into the depths of the second floor, Marcille starts to worry that her friends see her as a burden. In the catacombs, Chilchuck uses his skills as a thief to deactivate traps, barely escaping with his life after Senshi sets a few off. Hoping to use the oil in one of the traps to deep-fry the Big Bat meat, Senshi and Chilchuck work together to prepare a delicious meal for the party, each gaining a deeper appreciation for the other’s skills. Ever one to show off, Rokusuke Koenji does everything in his power to push Class 1-C’s buttons, flaunting his physical superiority and taunting Kiyotaka Ayanokōji with the knowledge that he knows he beat up Kakeru Ryūen. Nazuna Asahina also clarifies that she has her eyes on Kiyotaka, agreeing to share information about the other classes with him after he returns an ornament she dropped to rest his awareness.
Things only get more challenging for Class 1-C after Teruhiko Yukimura injures his left on a hike, putting the class in danger of failing the upcoming physical exam. Rather than accept defeat, Teruhiko creates a plan to ensure that every group member does well in one exam, exempting the team from expulsion.
On the day of the exams, Rokusuke’s group passed with flying colors, which resulted in Ikari Momoko’s expulsion. Although she attempts to take Akane Tachibana down with her as part of a plan set in motion by Miyubi Naguma, Manubi Horikita spends many points to save her, deepening the rivalry brewing between him and Naguma.
]]>This choice should not be made lightly, as killing Isobel will have a massive ripple effect on the rest of your adventure through the Sword Coast. This begs the question: is the reward you get for killing Isobel enough to outweigh its price? Here are the rewards and consequences of using your Dark Urge to kill Isobel in Baldur’s Gate 3.
After you’ve met Isobel and protected the Lost Light Inn from Flamming Fist Marcus and his Winged Horrors, your demented goblin butler Sceleritas Fel will appear to you in the night and ask you to kill her. To make this gruesome act of betrayal more appealing, Sceleritas promises you will receive a great reward.

If you feel conflicted about killing Isobel (like I was during my playthrough), you can get her opinion by talking to her and admitting your intentions. Noticing your hesitation, Isobel implores you to follow your conscience and fight the monster inside you. This is your last chance to back out of killing her, so consider your options carefully.
Refusing to back down initiates a fight that pits you and your Companions against Isobel and all of the Harpers and Fists in the Inn. Isobel can deal quite a bit of damage with spells like Guiding Bolt, but she only has 52 HP, and killing her instantly ends the fight.
As a Storm Sorcerer, I was able to make quick work of her by spamming Lightning Bolt, but no class will have a particularly hard time killing her. On the other hand, her companions can cut you down pretty fast if they get close enough to attack you, so you’ll want to kill Isobel as fast as possible.

Killing Isobel will cause the magical barrier she maintained around the Last Light Inn, allowing the Shadow Curse to seep in and turn most of the Inn’s inhabitants into hostile Undead. Jaheira will instantly confront you, and you can convince her that you weren’t responsible for Isobel’s death if you pass a fairly high Deception or Persuasion check.
Regardless of whether Jaheira believes your innocence, she will help you fight your way out of the Inn. There will be nineteen hostile Undead between you and safety, but they aren’t too hard to manage. I had Shadowheart with me during this encounter, and her Turn Undead ability made corraling the enemies into easily killable hordes easy.
Once you’ve dealt with the Undead, a bushel of Shadow Creepers will erupt from the ground and start attacking. These guys are much more challenging than your previous foes, but they can be dealt with if you focus your fire on them.
The fall of the Lost Light Inn will result in the death of several quest-important NPCs, hindering your ability to clear their questlines or making them impossible to complete. Here’s a list of all the Quests that will be impacted by killing Isobel.
Once you’ve returned to your camp, Jahiera will once again confront you over Isobel’s death, and things will play out very differently depending on whether or not you convinced her you weren’t responsible for it. If she knows you did it, she will try and kill you on the spot. This shouldn’t be a hard fight since you’ll have your companions with you, and you won’t be able to recruit her or Minsc to your party.
Alternatively, if you convinced Jahiena that you didn’t kill Isobel, you can persuade her to stay in your camp by consoling her. This will cause her to be present during the battle against Ketheric Throm at the end of Act 2.
For killing Isobel and condemning the Lost Light Inn to destruction, Sceleritas will bestow upon you the Slayer Form. A dark variant of the Druid’s Wild Shape, Slayer Form transforms you into a monstrous, crimson beast with 98 hit points and many deadly abilities.

One of the first characters to express romantic interest in Sung is his long-time friend Lee Joo-hee. A B-Rank Hunter and expert healer, Lee is one of the few Hunters who sees Sung as more than a burden when the series begins. Unfortunately, the traumatic ordeal she and Sung go through during the disastrous expedition that gives Sung his signature ability causes her to retire and distance herself from all things Hunter-related.
Of course, anyone in a relationship knows that your first is rarely your last, and Sung gets a second shot at love when he meets Cha Hae-In. An S-Rank Huntress with the unique ability to “smell” other Hunters’ souls, Cha befriends Sung after she realizes he isn’t as greedy or arrogant as the rest of her peers. After fighting alongside Sung against several powerful foes, Cha realizes that her feelings for him have taken a turn for the romantic.
While Sun and Cha’s relationship isn’t given much focus during Solo Leveling, later chapters of the series confirm that the two eventually get married and have a son, Sung Suho. Since the first episode of Solo Leveling introduces Cha much earlier than the original webcomic does, her relationship with Sung may end up getting more attention in the anime.

Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga episode 1 hits the ground running, reintroducing Rin, his heritage, and his mission. Fresh off of his victory over the Impure King, Rin faces a minor threat when one of his classmates, Godaiin, begins seeing demons.
Eager to help, Rin attempts to convince True Cross Academy’s headmaster, Mephisto Phelles, to give him special eye drops that will make Godaiin unable to perceive demons. During a one-on-one dinner, Mephisto reveals to Rin that he is Samael, the Demon King of Time, giving him some vital advice on how to conceal his extremely vulnerable tail and heart before promising to provide him with the eyedrops if he helps him resolve a “little issue.”

The next day, Rin and his closest friends are tasked by Mephisto to exorcise a malicious spirit inhabiting a painting. After Rin recklessly destroys the painting and unleashes the spirit, the junior exorcists are forced to work together to defeat the demon, introducing or reacquainting viewers with each of their unique abilities through a fantastic action sequence.
After giving Godaiin the eyedrops, Rin reflects on the loneliness his heritage has forced him to endure before grabbing dinner with his friends, among the few who accepted him after they learned the truth. As they depart, Mephisto reflects that Godaiin is just one of many humans beginning to see demons, foreshadowing the looming threat Rin will face.

Since they’ll be making their animated debut soon, here’s everything you need to know about Blue Exorcist‘s take on the Illuminati.
Sharing the same name as the infamous Enlightenment-era secret society of the same name, the Illuminati is one of the main antagonist forces in Blue Exorcist. Modeled after the version of the organization at the center of many real-world conspiracy theories, Blue Exorcist‘s Illuminati is an ancient occult order that has secretly influenced the course of Assiah’s history for centuries, holding almost, if not more influence over the world than the True Cross Order.

Unlike the True Cross Order, the Illuminati does not believe that the demons of Gehenna are enemies of humanity. To the Illuminati, there is no real difference between humans and demons, and their goal is to unify both factions into a new world order by merging the realms of Assiah and Gehenna into a single realm where all beings are equal.
While the Illuminati’s goals may sound noble, the organization adheres to a dangerously fanatical “ends-justify-the-means” mentality. Throughout Blue Exorcist, the Illuminati commits countless atrocities to further their goals, viewing every death they cause as a tragic but necessary sacrifice.
The Illuminati is a massive organization made up mostly of nameless goons, but the upper echelons have quite a few memorable characters. One of the primary standouts is Saburota Todo, a high-ranking Exorcist and member of the prestigious Todo Family who betrayed the True Cross Order. Fans of the Blue Exorcist anime saw quite a bit of Todo during Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, in which the treacherous ex-exorcist helped free the Impure King.
The Illuminati also counts quite a few powerful demons amongst its ranks, including Egyn, the Demon King of Water and one of Satan’s many sons. However, none of these demons are even remotely as powerful as the Illuminati’s founder and leader, Lucifer.
Lucifer, also the King of Light, is the oldest son of Satan and one of the most powerful demons in all of Gehenna. Bearing an eerily similar appearance to his brother Mephisto Pheles, Lucifer is second only to his father in the demonic hierarchy that governs Gehenna, and the influence he wields over Assiah through the Illuminati makes him a much more imposing foe than most of the demons Rin has faced.
Lucifer’s history is one of the most fascinating parts of Blue Exorcist‘s story, so I won’t dare spoil it by going into detail about it here. However, anime fans won’t have to wait long to see why the exorcists of the True Cross Order have cause to fear the light.

The opening minutes of Solo Leveling Episode 1 feature a series of anime-original scenes where we see a group of low-level Hunters charging into a dungeon full of ant-like monsters and various leaders of the Hunters’ Guild discussing the nature of the Dungeons. These scenes feature several major characters introduced later in the Solo Leveling webcomic, including Yoo-Chin Hoo and Cha Hae-In.
Eventually, we’re introduced to Sung Jin-Woo, who endures more than a bit of ribbing from higher-ranked Hunters as he prepares to enter a D-rank dungeon. Fortunately, he does have one friend amongst the assembled Hunters: Lee Joo-hi, who makes it very clear she thinks Sung-Jin’s out of his league.

During the raid, Sung Jin-Woo is nearly hacked to ribbons by a goblin and only manages to nab a small crystal. However, before the party can leave the dungeon, a new passage opens in the final room. Desperate to provide for his younger sister and comatose mother, Sung Jin-Woo votes to delve deeper despite Lee’s protests.
The party finds themselves in a large room filled with rather menacing statues. As soon as one of the Hunters tries to leave, the statues come alive and begin wasting the team of would-be adventures. The episode ends with Sung Jin-Woo staring into the merciless eyes of one of the statues, which grins down at him with sadistic glee.
