Potato Shader

For those of you playing Minecraft on a true potato PC, this appropriately named shader is for you. If a Potato can run the game, then your computer can run it too. Jokes aside, this one of the best Minecraft shaders if your PC is a potato. Potato Shader subtly enhances your graphics with custom water effects, dynamic colors, ambient occlusion, and other effects that practically any computer can run.

Vaporwave Shaderpack

Add that classic 80s neon flair to Minecraft by downloading Vaporwave Shaderpack. This bizarre shader makes your entire game wavy, with glowing grid lines spanning the entire world. While not particularly practical, this shader pack can provide a fun and unique experience for those who can’t run more extravagant and outlandish shaders smoothly.

Bliss

The focus of Bliss is variety and contrast. This shader pack features a dynamic sky that drastically alters every cycle and “biome-specific environments,” making each biome distinct from the others. Plenty of settings are available for various aspects of the pack to tailor it to your PC’s performance. No wonder this is one of the best Minecraft shaders for a low-end PC that you can find out there.

Is 8GB RAM Enough For Minecraft Shaders?

A high-quality GPU is probably enough to operate Shaders with just 8GB of RAM. However, if your GPU is outdated or integrated, 8GB of RAM may not be sufficient. The shaders mentioned earlier are designed specifically for lower-end PCs, so they should work fine. However, if you’re looking to enhance your game’s visuals with a superior shader, you might require additional RAM.

Which Shader Is the Least Laggy?

The least laggy Minecraft Shaders are the KUDA Shaders – No Lag! and the Potato Shader. One is specially made to avoid lag and the other runs on pretty much any pc. With either of those, your game will certainly be less laggy and more responsive.

Bounty Board Locations in Fortnite Chapter 5

You can find a Bounty Board in any of the named locations in Fortnite, and when you get close, you’ll see a crosshair icon show up on your UI showing its location. Here are the locations for all confirmed Bounty Boards so far in Fortnite:

So far there are at least 12 confirmed locations for Bounty Boards across the map in Fortnite Chapter 5, similar to how you can find Weapon Cases. You’ll notice most of these are named locations, often in the central areas of each one.

How to Use Bounty Boards in Fortnite Chapter 5

When you find them, hit the designated action button on your controller or keyboard, and take out a bounty on a player. This will create an orange circle on your map, meaning you should search that area for your bounty. Additionally, the game gives you the player’s username and character, so you can pick them out of a crowd in case other players try and snipe your bounty.

You’ll be able to take on a Bounty every game, so you’ll be able to test your skill as much as you’d like, or possibly take on a big challenge if you’ve got a high-level target, so make sure that you’re ready and prepared for the hunt to ensue! It’s a great way to build up Gold reserves and clamp down on any competition you might not have known was there when you arrived. Beware though, the game alerts the player when you place a bounty on them too!

How to Get Gold Bars in Fortnite

Gold Bars are obtained from basically every Fortnite activity. You can find them in chests, you can loot them after defeating other players, and you can complete in-game quests to earn them. It’s very easy to amass a large stash of Gold Bars just by playing the game for a while, but the start of a new season is always rough. Here’s what you can do to kickstart your Gold Bar savings account in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

Vaults

Vaults are back in Fortnite Chapter 5, and they’re home to massive hoards of treasure. While Chapter 5’s Vaults mainly house weapons and Mod Benches, the chests within them still give large bundles of Gold Bars.

You can find Vaults at POIs patrolled by Society bosses like Oscar, Valeria, or the deadly Peter Griffin. To gain access to their treasure, you must defeat them and loot their keycards and Society Medallions. With a keycard in hand, the Vault’s scanner will recognize you and open the door.

Loot Islands and Capture Points

Capture Points and Loot Islands are two solid strategies for aspiring Gold Bar earners as well. There are caches scattered across the map that will reward you with loot — including Gold Bars — if you stand near them long enough to capture them.

Near the end of a match, a Loot Island will also be launched into the air with a Capture Point in the center. Capturing a Loot Island will net you a nice bundle of Gold Bars and highlight the nearby chests so you can add a few more to your savings.

Bounties

First introduced alongside the currency back in Chapter 2 Season 5, Bounties were the original way to earn Gold Bars. By finding Bounty Boards throughout the map, you can hunt down enemy players in exchange for a payment of Gold Bars. You can loot Gold Bars from them after eliminating them too, making this a great way to earn Bars fast.

You can find Bounty Boards all over the island, but they tend to be more common near POIs and other places with large concentrations of players. When you get close to one, an icon will appear on the map to notify you.

Looting

Finally, you can get Gold Bars the old-fashioned way. Looting every chest and container you see will slowly but surely bolster your Gold Bar reserves. You may even come across a safe that contains a huge Gold Bar stash now and then, especially if you loot at large POIs with plenty of houses. There’s not much to this strategy, just make sure you’re constantly looting during your battle royale matches and you’ll end up with more Gold Bars than you know what to do with.

However, if you keep getting knocked out of Battle Royals as soon as they start, it may be time to change some things.

While you could dedicate hours to honing your reaction time and battlefield awareness, the issue may lie in your PC’s sensitivity and key bindings. After completing the Ultimate Easy Obby, you’ll have the option to jump directly into the Super Fun Obby, which ups the ante a fair bit. Instead of 50 Stages, you’ll find yourself jumping and moving through 500 Total Stages, meaning that the playtime won’t be coming to a close any time soon. With a much higher difficulty rating, this could be the best way to enjoy an Obby, especially if you’re racing against friends for the fastest times.

If you’re looking for an Obby that will make you laugh, as well as make you work hard to get to the goal, Easy Parkour Obby might be what you’ve been searching for. Don’t let the Baldi in the thumbnail freak you out, this is one of the most interesting Obbys available on the Roblox platform. You’ll need to be a master of Parkour to make it to the end of this one, and could be one that you revisit time and time again.

If you’re tired of running and jumping, how do you feel about Dropping? While not a typical Obby, you’ll need to duck and dive out of the way while making your way through the challenging levels of The Dropper [120+ LEVELS!!!] – Roblox. You’ll still need to be quick on your controller or keyboard to make sure you don’t clonk yourself on the head while dropping down from the highest heights, and make some swift maneuvers to avoid losing the stage.

How to Take Off Your Hat in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You can change your Outfit appearance at the beginning of the game using the Appearance menu. Within this menu, you can customize your outfit as you see fit, including your hat. You will start with the School Hat, the Sport Cap, and the School Helmet hat options for your Outfit. Sometimes, though, you want to rock a no-hat look to show off your adorable hairstyle. You can take off your hat by following these directions:

1. Press the Left directional pad button to access the Appearance Menu
2. Use the Joystick or Directional Pad to navigate to the Hat category

Unfortunately, there is no way to change your hairstyle without the use of a Salon. Although there could always be a possibility that it is added as a feature in a future update, however, take that with a grain of salt as there has been no official word about any of that. Nonetheless, if something gets requested enough, it can be common for developers to make changes to a game to improve a certain system or mechanic even more.

For the time being, you will have to learn where to find a Salon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and make your way there to change your hairstyle in the game.

Will The DLC Include New Hats?

Revealed during the Pokemon Presents in February 2023, these two Pokemon titles will be receiving some new DLC to keep the adventure moving forward before the end of the year. Even though I’ve been out of the wrestling loop for far longer than I would like to admit, I still have a fair knowledge of all of the current WWE shenanigans, and I had never once heard of Gabriel Slade. Well, that’s because, much like The Lock, he’s a created character just for the story mode that you’re partaking in.

Playing the part of a Face, Gabriel is a kind and empathetic character that seems to want nothing more than to help the created character strive toward the greatness they deserve. Willing to go above and beyond the line of duty, he is likely willing to sacrifice himself to save you to ensure that you can reach the true stardom you deserve.

While The Lock is initially hesitant to accept Gabriel’s help throughout the early part of the MyRise campaign, there are a few times you’ll get the chance to team up with him, and work your way up the ladder — both literally and figuratively. You’ll find that Gabriel doesn’t have a bad bone in his body, and just wants to make his break into the scene as much as The Lock does, but doesn’t have the backing that is required.

Can You Play As Gabriel Slade Outside Of MyRise?

It’s a shame that you cannot use Gabriel outside of a few matches in the game, but there is a chance that Visual Concepts and 2K Sports may add him as a playable character in the future, as it seems that fans love what he has to offer. In WWE 2K22, there were plenty of characters locked to MyRise that were not made available until after the game was released.

Both The Lock and The Legacy offer plenty of excitement in the MyRise mode, so make sure you’re ready for action before jumping in and get ready for the best stories that WWE has ever put on the market.

How to Install FFXIV via Launcher on SD Card for 64 GB Steam Deck

While the road ahead may be a bit rocky, we’ve found out how to make this process as seamless as possible. If you can, open this page on your Steam Deck via your Internet Browser of choice, as a few lines are required to copy and paste. Here are all of the steps needed to get Final Fantasy XIV up and running via SD card on any Steam Deck.

Pre-Installation Requirements

There are a few things that you’ll want to secure before jumping on this method, and they are as follows:

• Steam Deck (Any Size)
• SD Card, 128 GB or Larger Recommended
• Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse (Not required, but recommended for ease)
• Plenty of Free Time

Also, just to keep things from getting confusing, if you have tried to install the Final Fantasy XIV Steam Version, uninstall that before starting these steps to avoid confusion. It makes things a bit easier when trying to track down the FFXIV Launcher Client when the time comes.

Step-By-Step Instructions For FFXIV On Steam Deck Via Launcher

• Begin the installation process in Desktop Mode
• Open Discovery Store
• Download gedit, Wine, Flatseal, any Internet Browser, and ProtonUp-Qt

Step One: ProtonUp-Qt

• Launch ProtonUp-Qt in your Discover Menu
• Click Add Version
• Select and download the newest version (GE-Proton7-50 in this instance)
• We chose Ge-Proton7-50, but there may be a newer version at your time of reading. Go with the latest version available.
• Exit ProtonUp-Qt

Step Two: Flatseal

• Launch Flatseal in your Discover Menu
• Select Wine on the left side of the screen

• Scroll down to Filesystem, and find Other Files
• Click on the Folder & Plus Sign
• Add this directory with your Keyboard, or copy and paste from here
  • /run/media/mmcblk0p1/
• Exit Flatseal

Step Three: Wine + FFXIV Installation

• Access your Internet Browser of choice
• Download Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial or Final Fantasy XIV Launcher on your Steam Deck
• Find the ffxivsetup_ft.exe file in your downloads (via Dolphin or Browser) and run it with Wine
• It may ask what you want to do with the file. Click Execute
  • There is a chance that it may freeze up, this is normal. 
• If it freezes, just open the ffxivsetup_ft.exe file again.
• Select your Language of Choice
• Click Next, then Next, until it says the following:
  • Setup will install FFXIV Online in the Following Folder
• During the setup, you’ll find this window by clicking Browse

• Click the Plus Sign ( + ) next to Z, go to Run, then Media, then mmcblk0p1
• Make sure your Destination Folder looks like this:
  • If using an SD card, enter the following
    • Z:\run\media\mmcblk0p1 
• As long as your destination path looks like that, press Next, and then Next again
• Leave “Create a shortcut on your desktop?” Checked, and click Finish

Step Four: Dolphin + Gedit

• Go into Dolphin again, scroll on the Left Sidebar down to Removable Devices
• Click on Primary, and you should see a SquareEnix folder
• Click on that, followed by FINAL FANTASY XIV – A Realm Reborn, and Boot
• Find ffxivboot.exe and double-click to run the program, and Execute it when asked
• At this point, it will pop up the Update Window, which will likely freeze
• Exit out of the program, and go to Dolphin again
• Press on the Magnifying Glass next to Split and search the following:
  • Ffxiv_boot

• If it doesn’t show up, click on Your Files and it should appear
• Right Click using the left trigger, and go to Open With
• Use gedit to open the file
• Here, change the Numerical Value of the following items:
  • Browser & Browser Type
  • Easily identified as Numbers 8 and 16 on the Left Hand Side
  • Change the values of Browser and Browser Type to 1
• Save the document, and exit gedit

Step Five: Add FFXIV Launcher to Steam

• Close out of Dolphin and Right Click the Final Fantasy XIV Online Desktop shortcut
• Select Add To Steam
• You’ll need to copy this particular line of text, as you’ll need to input it in Steam:
  • STEAM_COMPAT_MOUNTS=/Z:/run/media/mmcbkl0p1/ %command%
• Return to Gaming Mode
• Find Final Fantasy XIV in your Steam account. It will likely have zero art.
• Click on the Gear Icon, and select Properties
• Under Launch Options, paste the STEAM_COMPAT command listed, once again, below:
  • STEAM_COMPAT_MOUNTS=/Z:/run/media/mmcbkl0p1/ %command%

• For the Target, select Browse and find the FFXIV Boot.exe file
• It is normally found under the following set:
  • “/run/media/mmcblk0p1/SquareEnix/FINAL FANTASY XIV – A Realm Reborn/boot/ffxivboot.exe”
  • If Browse does not work, you can change the Target in Steam Desktop Mode by following the same steps above
• Go to Compatibility
• Select Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility Tool
• Find and select GE-Proton7-50
• Press B to go back to the main FFXIV Online Game Page

Step Six: Launch FFXIV Launcher

• Press Play
• Wait patiently for the Launcher to open

• Tap Square Enix ID and enter your ID
• Tap Password and enter the password
• Tap Save Credentials, or use a mouse to click it (Trackpad likely won’t work)
• Wait for FFXIV to download, and keep your screen on.
• There is a chance that it may close during the download. This is normal, just boot again.
• Click Play FF XIV
• Configure your Controls
• Enjoy Final Fantasy XIV on your Steam Deck via SD Card!

Why Use the Proton Method Instead of XIVLauncher?

Editor’s Note: If you’ve done the research, you may have read that the XIVLauncher is a much faster method of installing Final Fantasy XIV on Steam Deck. While there is truth to this claim, most Steam Deck 64 GB owners are unable to perform the XIVLauncher method. Even when performing the steps correctly, you will likely encounter two issues:

• The Steam Deck Controls don’t work (No Device Located)
• Dalamud Error (When attempting to select a Data Server)

This issue appears to specifically affect Steam Deck 64 GB owners attempting to install Final Fantasy XIV on the SD Card. We’ve reached out to goatcorp in their Discord server and were unable to verify a solution.

While the Proton method may be a longer process, we can personally confirm that the installation works without issue, saving you a major headache in the long run. We hope this helps!

All Unlockable Characters in MyRise Mode in WWE 2K23

While there may only be two characters that are unlockable through the MyRise mode, they’re some crazy throwbacks that you may not have expected. Here are the characters you can unlock in MyRise:

While there are already an almost overwhelming number of arenas to wrestle in, you’ll find that there are still a few more waiting for you during your time in MyRise. While the number may not be as high as it was in WWE 2K22, there are still some exciting venues waiting to be unlocked.

The wrestling action is better than ever in this entry, so make sure you’re prepared to jump in and make a splash with your created wrestler. You’ll need to be quick on your feet, nimble as ever, and ready to take on any obstacle that gets in your way while mastering what it takes to become something of a WWE Legend yourself.

Can You Use Custom Music In WWE 2K23?

To get the blood pumping and the excitement flowing, you’ll have a few different tracks that you’re able to pick and choose from, but you cannot import fully custom songs. We can only assume this is due to licensing reasons, and while it may be slightly disappointing to some, the soundtrack this year offers a great selection of tracks that can be used while making your way to the ring.

While this feature is not currently live as of Version 1.02, we can assume it will be much like WWE 2K22, where you can use any track that is on the soundtrack and turn it into a custom theme, and with choices ranging from Metallica to Ozzy Osbourne — with plenty of choices in between — you’ll be bound to find the perfect song for your entrance. The songs included are as follows:

From this list, you can take any song and find the perfect segment that will complement your Created Wrestler and make their ring walk that much more memorable. Seeing someone coming down to the stage during the climax of Take What You Want is rather exciting and memorable, so get to creating your ultimate entrance as soon as possible!

How To Upload A Photo To WWE 2K23

The first thing you’re going to need is to grab your Mobile Device of choice and scan this QR Code, which will give you the option to link your WWE 2K23 account to your phone or tablet. Once you have selected the platform that you are playing on, it will ask you to upload a photo of your choosing.

Using another app, such as FaceApp, to create a proper photo could be the way to get the best-imported superstar look, but you can also use just a standard selfie that you can shape to your liking. Make sure to remove any glasses you may be wearing, and get the hair off of your face if you’re hoping to get the best results.

Once this has been completed and uploaded, you’ll need to jump on WWE 2K23 and make your way to the Online Menu, and select Community Creations. Within this submenu, you’ll see an option titled Image Manager. Clicking on this option will give you the option to import your recent photos into the game, so you can start creating your superstar, or even your own special icons for building things in the ring.

Go to Creations, and select the option of your choice. For this example, we are going to select Superstar and make headway on what kind of Wrestler we want to be. After this has been completed, select Face, and Face Photo Capture to import your new creation onto your Create A Wrestler, and mold it to look as perfect as you need it to be. You’ll find all of your creations under Downloaded in this option, so select that and get to work making the next big WWE Superstar!

You’re now ready to go and make a splash in the MyRise mode or challenge yourself against the elite of the WWE. Thanks to improved facial textures, as well as a plethora of other customization options, the CAW System has never been better in the history of the franchise.

How to Unlock Characters in WWE 2K23

If you’re hoping to unlock all of the characters in this world, you’re going to need to put in the work to make it happen. Playing through different modes, such as MyRise, MyGM, and even standard Exhibition Matches will give you Credits that can be used to purchase these Superstars, and with so many to unlock, you’re going to need to put some time in.

From the Main Menu, navigate over to the Options Menu, and select Store. Once inside the Store, head over to Purchasables, where you can start unlocking your favorite WWE Superstars that are ready to be unlocked.

There are some particular characters and special cameos that are going to show up during MyRise, and they are only unlockable via this particular mode, even if you purchase the Supercharger.
