Taylor Swift fans have a huge task ahead. She released a quiz in partnership with Google called the “Taylor Swift Vault”, named after the blue vault that pops up on your browser when you start the quiz. Any fan can participate in it and submit their answer. All they have to do is find the word or sentence that matches the hint shown for them. There are 99 puzzles available and, globally, fans have the goal of solving these puzzles 33 million times to open the vault.

How to submit answers to Taylor Swift’s Vault on Google

Here’s how to know your Taylor vault answer was sent correctly.

  1. Search for “Taylor Swift” on Google. The results page will open and a blue vault will drop from the top of your screen.
  2. Tap the blue vault. A puzzle will show up, along with a hint.
  3. Figure out the puzzle answer. It’s usually related to lyrics of Taylor Swift’s songs.
  4. When you think you solved it, type the answer to the Taylor Swift vault puzzle it in the search bar on the same page where the vault is open. Confirm to search for it.
  5. If you got the answer right, a popup will appear saying you solved the puzzle. If it doesn’t show up, your answer is wrong and you must go back to the previous page and try again.
  6. Click “New Puzzle” to try another one.
  7. If you don’t want to solve the puzzle Google gave you, click the blue vault again then select “New Puzzle”.

To open the vault and hear Taylor Swift’s message, click the vault and her voice message revealing the tracks will immediately play. You can still play and solve more puzzles after that, if you want.

Why isn’t the Taylor vault showing up on Google?

If you can’t see the Taylor vault, try changing your browser as it may not be compatible. Otherwise, this promotional minigame may have ended and fans may have solved 33 million puzzles globally, which was the final goal for the vault to open.
